Our stay at Abbaye de Capservy was idyllic. Arriving in the late afternoon, the light radiated thru the halls and our short wait in the reception room was a respite after navigating with only French on our GPS. The host, was ever so charming, and made us feel most welcome. Our room was very large overlooking the arches of the front garden and the surrounding vineyard lands and hills. The morning breakfast was very sufficient. Our request for dinner locations was immediately responded to with suggestions in nearby towns including a local market which we chose to partake in the food and local atmosphere. I shed a tear when we left because honestly, I didn't want to leave.
With views of the Cité de Carcassonne, Domaine de Gleyre B&B offers a garden, terrace and outdoor swimming pool built with wooden material. Guests can relax in the on-site spa hot-tub.

The owners were friendly and kind. Good breakfast. Nice location. Although there are strict times for the swimming pool, the owners allowed our children to refresh, since we arrived later than expected.
