The rooms are decorated in a way that preserves the charm and the soul of the house. There is plenty to do around the farm and in the nearby villages if you like hiking, medieval scenery and nature. We loved our stay at le Moulin du Paroy! The hosts were delightful! Breakfast was delicious, with local jam and honey made on site. The pool was quite refreshing after a long day of driving. Serres is a super cute medieval town. Definitely worth a visit! The inn is close to town but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful. And the night sky is beautiful.

The room was small and basic as we expected for the price but the hosts were helpful and welcomed us. We slept well in a quiet room. Our car was able to be parked safely in the hotel car park.

The village and surrounds are peaceful and beautiful- in many ways this is still a medieval landscape though the castles are now ruins and the sanitation much improved.
Footpaths and walks are well signposted and many are suitable for cycling. There are cycle lanes on many of the main roads.
We travelled by car and fuelled at the supermarket in Serres. The tourist office is helpful and English speaking though most visitors speak French
