Cacotte was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were just what we needed, and were clean and comfortable, and good value. The use of the kitchen was also much appreciated. Cacotte's local Boulangerie advice was perfect. We will return again.
This was an ideal location to break our journey. We decided to give ourselves a day there to rest and find out more about the area. We had come prepared with food for Sunday evening to heat up in the farm's microwave. Unfortunately the local restaurants also closed on Monday - I checked with the tourist office and they were all closed, so be prepared if staying here for limited availability. It is an attractive area - Chateaudun has a nice ambiance, and deserves to be better known but the tourist facilities aren't quite in place.
