I guess the beds were comfortable let's say. The staff at the Reception and at the breakfast area were very kind, they are trying to keep this hotel floating... I have a few suggestions in the negative tab.

Hotel is in a nice place, quiet and surrounded by nature. The owner and staff are very friendly. White, clean sheets and towels. Wifi at the reception works well. Bed is old, but comfortable, as are pillows.

The town has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and all amenities. It is a manageable size and can be explored easily on foot from wherever a car is parked. The scenery around the town is also beautiful and worth making an excursion. It is also a stop on the Tour de France on 25 July so expect heavy traffic around that time.

For me, it is the opposite of other peoples' description of the country and the people in general. I find the place safe, clean, and lively (Friday evening is happy and wonderful.) The people are helpful and cheerful. Eating out is unbelievably cheaper than in London. In general, the place and the people are adorable.

they have an excellent chef! although there was no vegetarian option on the menu, they put together an imaginative and delicious dinner with seasonal ingredients, all with fine distinctive tastes coupled with fine local wines. worth a trip just for the food! well done!
The hotel has private and secure parking. Check-in and check-out went very smooth. The hotel doesn't use a key, but a code that can be used for the room, the parking gate and the wifi which is quite handy. The location is outside of the center, a car is needed to get around. The room itself was clean.
we stayed with IBIS concern several times. always satisfactory. Always for 1 night . Passing through on the road to......Rooms are not big. But we need the room just to sleep. Parking for the motorbikes. in the garage.Breakfast is always well organized. close to the Centre.
Great apartment in the city center of Gap. The host was very friendly and flexible. We booked very last minute but it was still possible to check in early.
It can be very hot in Gap but because the windows in the roof open it doesn't get too hot.

The location right above the city main plaza was very practical for some aspects (the kids loved watching the Christmas lights outside and they were eagerly waiting for the carrousel to open at 10am!)
The hotel manager went out of her way to accommodate us, even suggesting that we park our motorbikes right outside the entrance so that they would be safe. Also her dinner recommendation was superb.
The excellent restaurant with lots of choice at a very reasonable price. Plenty of parking right outside the hotel which is in a quiet location. Helpful staff who speak English which is a bonus.
Brilliant staff, friendly and helpful, both in the hotel and the restaurant. Great pool, great food in the resto and reception organised a first class massage. Good breakfast too.
it’s ideally place on the N85, a great drop off for the night if travelling further south, or going north the hotel is clean and comfortable and everyone was welcomed with a smile.

Lovely clean location, the owner left some eggs for Breakfast and homemade pancakes. Will definitely come back as the mountains as I enjoy the mountains of Gap.
Free parking, great breakfast. The price was the reason for us to book and you get what you pay for. The location was ok. 15-20 min walk to city center.
