Extremely relaxing with amazing hospitality! The hosts Michel and Asja made the stay so lovely. Great place to relax. Michel is a great chef so if you don’t have prior plans, it is highly recommended to enjoy the dinner here! If you love flying or hadn’t tried flying yet, check with Michel about it because the activity is only limited to guests staying here. It was a once in a lifetime experience to have the villages introduced from above and later visiting them!

It was a very good traditional French breakfast. The hot chocolate was made from scratch and excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were large, newly renovated, and very well decorated. It was a unique experience in a tiny French village deep into Burgundy... not far from the Museo Park of Alesia and Fontenay Abbey. Our host was very engaging and friendly.
A small town of 300. No boulangerie at present. One due to open in a month. No super market Restaurants limited. Rarely open. La Grange open for lunch.
Close to larger towns and Alessia the museum and to biking on the canal

A very old medieval village which is very quiet and has few tourists. It was the location of the film Chocolat but there is little reference to it but if you see the film you will recognise the streets and buildings. You need to be aware this is very much rural france so there’re are no banks or cash machines but shop and restaurants take cards. There is only 1 grocery store, 2 restaurants and in the dAy just 2 cafe bars.
