The location of Casa Vanella is absolutely stunning! Beautiful views. Very comfortable stay. Mr. Luciani (former recordman on the GR20) takes very well care of his guest. The common shared room is a very nice place to relax. Breakfast and the rooms are all fine. The night are totally silent, except for the night owls.

The dogs who live outside in the yard are both very sweet: the younger Sharpei type is more outgoing initially, but don't overlook the old Pyrenees type with the scarred face -- once he warms up to you he is very grateful for affection.
The owner came by to deliver fresh ingredients for breakfast and was very kind about it when I accidentally locked the keys inside the house.

The location was okay - about a 20 minute walk from the train station and not far to the citadel and to restaurants. Room was okay as far as cleanliness.
