The chateau is beautiful and preserved historically in decor and style. The property is well maintained and beautiful with various outer buildings and a gite. The countryside surrounding the property is so scenic. The room we had was lovely and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very large and modern for such an old chateau. Plantings are abundant and although it was Fall and not flowering season for most plants, there were still a few roses and hydrangea flowering.
amazing host Pascale and we were fortunate enough to meet one couple of the two couples that own the chateau as they were doing an apple cider pressing project this Oct. Wonderful to hear about the chateau from the owners and their friends helping out.
Great breakfast served in the majestic dining room.
Highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful location. Beautiful cottage, pictures don’t do it justice. Great location for day trips but felt like a real break from the hustle and bustle in Paris. Magic !

Beautiful quiet location outside Avranches but close enough to easily drive in for dinner. We were very comfortable & we were traveling (on our way to Spain from the ferry in Cherbourg) with our two dogs who were very welcome. Delicious bread & croissant with juice & coffee for breakfast. All was great!
