The staff was absolutely excellent, everyone of them! They even let me check in a little earlier which was great because I had a long travel day. The room was gorgeous and super clean. The shower was great as well as the soap, shampoo, ect. they provided. The location was perfect! I was able to walk to the hotel from the main train station easily, and also walk to many places of interest. I walked to Logomo to see a concert and felt absolutely safe walking back to the hotel by myself, as a solo female traveler. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again. I go to the beautiful country of Finland every year, it's a breath of fresh air! Oh, and the breakfast was excellent! And I'm a picky eater!
This hotel is located above Hansa Shopping Center on Yliopistonkatu pedestrian shopping street, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the Turku Train Station.

It was quiet, clean, conveniently situated and comfy.
The original capital of Finland, Turku is the country’s oldest city that features a bustling harbour, an array of museums and restaurants, and is renowned for being the cradle of Finnish culture.
During the summer Turku’s waterfronts come alive with boat bars and cafés, along with popular festivals such as Ruisrock Festival and Turku Music Festival, which are held in July and August respectively.
The city offers a number of entertainment options and landmarks such as the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art, Turku Cathedral and the medieval Turku Castle, which overlooks the harbour.
Tallink Silja Terminal and Viking Line Terminal offer regular ferry services to destinations such as Stockholm, Åland Islands and Moomin World Theme Park, located on the island of Kailo.
Check out the Booking.com website to choose from a selection of hostels, apartments and hotels in Turku, Naantali and throughout Finland.
Turku is a very nice smaller city in FInland. There are lots of intereting places to visit in the surrounding area, the river aura, the cathedral, the museum, the harbour, Ruisallo island, the botanical gardens. Also plenty of good places to eat.

We didn't get to see much of Turku, unfortunately. We stayed there as it was convenient for Naantali. However, there were a number of museums and galleries etc that I would have liked to have seen.

It is a good experience from spring until autumn.
It is a good experience from spring until autumn. In between everything is gloomer with less opportunities. At any time of year, you should not expect that most people will meet your eyes nor smile. Nature is nice and during the summer there are possibilities visiting archipelago. If you are in the downtown, don't forget to visit over 100 year old Turku market hall, where you can have a great lunch and feel the local vibe. There are also plenty of unique nature walks around the sea or forests close b

Nice places to visit: Turku Castle, Cathedral. The city is beautiful and very clean.
Ate a couple of times at Timbuktu. Very nice African restaurant.
Public transport is cheap, on-time and convenient. It is 3 euros for two hours on any bus line.
The city doesn't sleep in summer time. Firsthand experience!

Just a lovely city with plenty of attractions to visit, naval history, medieval castle, lovely parks, plenty of choice regarding eating out (recommend Panimoravintola Koulu; Lone Star (burgers, fries)), easy to get around by walking, bike and/or scooter. Great base for exploring the islands of the Turku Archipelago. Must see attractions include Luostarimaki open air history quarter, walking or running along the Aura river, Turku medieval castle at Linnanpuisto park, Ispoinen beach and Sauna; various historical sailing ships along the Aura.

I went to Turku for Knotfest, so I didn't have enough time to see all the views. But, since I've been to Turku many times, I can tell you that it is an excellent place to visit with many sights to see, and not overly touristy. I recommend seeing Turun Linna (Turku castle), the River Aura, the old wooden neighborhoods, and the Turku cathedral.
If you are traveling on a budget, the public transport system works well, unless you use it after midnight when music festivals have just finished, such as Knotfest. In that case, be prepared to get ditched by bus drivers. For cheap food, you can download the ResQ app to buy cheap lunches from restaurants and help reduce food waste in the process. Hotel located in centrum Turku (5 minutes walk to Puutori). Near to Turku Cathedral and Aurajoki/Aura Å. Good connection to Turku Airport (bus #1). Room clean, comfortable with very good Wi-Fi connection. Amazing and rich breakfast, fresh fruits/vegetables, sweet/salty snacks. I had early morning flight and not was problem with take away breakfast (delicious sandwich, apple + coffe). Crew very helpful and friendly. It was my first visit in Finland and stayed here made it wonderful. I honestly recommended every one. Kiitos! :-)
I enjoyed my stay in Linnasmäki hotel. The room was quite clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is really good, tasty and high quality.
I would like to extend my appreciation to Katja from the reception for her hospitality, friendliness and helpfulnes. She made sure everything is fine and helped immediately when needed. Thank you for your excellent customer service.
I recommend hotel Linnasmäki and would stay here again during my next visit to Turku.
The hotel was suprisingly nice - despite the fact that it's located on top of a Hesburger restaurant, the room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Despite the restaurant downstairs there was no noise or fast food smell The check-in happened in the restaurant, but the hotel had a separate entrance and there was no need to visit the restaurant again to get into your room etc. There was also free parking right behind the hotel.
Excellent location, just stroll down 400 meters along Aninkaistenkatu to the river Aura and visit the cathedral to the left or Aboa Vetus Ars Nova on the right, and everything the Turku riverfront has to offer.
The host was very helpful and responsive and the apartment was lovely for a family stay, the hanging chair was a big hit with our daughter. No noise from Aninkaistenkatu was audible.
This is an old-fashioned "proper" hotel with unique decoration in each room. It had a homely feel and character. The breakfast had plenty of options for everyone with good space. Location was great - a short walk from the city, backing onto a park. There is outdoor seating and a bar in reception offering local beers. We had a big roll-top bath as well as a shower.
- Possibility to use bikes for free
- The location of the room in the hotel (e.g., you could see the Cathedral, Aurajoki river, the hill on the other side of the river)
- The location of the hotel in the city (close to all main sites, e.g., the Cathedral, riverside, main square)
- Good breakfast
- The fact that hotel's elevator goes straight to the LIDL shop
Location near Turku passenger terminal for both ferry companies. Seaport next to them is 2-3 times more expensive. Tight cabins, so being alone is best. It is a hostel, so you make your own bed. Parking nearby, not next to, is free too if you ask for the paper. Breakfast starts at 6.30 so time to have it then walk to the terminal in time for the ferries.
The hostel is very nicely located in a foresty area. Our room was very clean. We did not use the breakfast, due to early departure on the ferry. As the shared bathroom is unfortunately very common in Finland, we were lucky that this hostel still had rooms with private toilet and bathroom. Good value for money.
modern flat in a brand new building sited near the port of Turku. Very good kitchen fully furnished, cosy living area and comfortable beds. parking provided nearby
The flat has a washing machine and dishwasher, airer, iron board and vacuum cleaner. Ideal for short and long stays.
-Excellent location, near centre of Turku (walk about 5 mins to Hansa Turku shopping centre)
-Near bus stop, Brahenkatu
-Friendly staff, provide delicious breakfast buffet
-Comfortable room and bathroom( there are towels, shampoo, body wash), hot water to bath
I am very happy with my stay at Scandic Julia. My room was quiet, with a very comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I visited the hotel sauna and I was very satisfied with the complimentary breakfast. I would gladly return.
I like everything about this place. Starting from the location and the view from the window. The room is very cosy with very nice details.
The staff are very nice and they left us a sweet complement.
I really recommend this place
The staff was incredibly kind. I got to the hotel really early and since they had a clean room they let me do an early check-in and even have breakfast. Which, by the way, was a super tasty breakfast.
Breakfast was acceptable although not at same level as other hotels visited.
Friendly staff; efficient check in and out.
Attractive location of hotel.
Reasonably prices overnight parking.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is attached to a shopping center for easy shopping and is within walking distance of restaurants and the city center.
Very exiting hotel. Friendly staff. Kakola tour with the guide is a must Restaurant Ruben is high class. All in all a wonderful hotel with a nice view over Turku.
