The view, the wooden sauna, the grill area, and the surrounding area. Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.

The cottage was absolutely adorable and it had everything one would want, a little kitchen, a comfortable bed in a tiny bedroom, and a sauna. We heated the sauna every night.
It also had a washer which was great considering we had been on the road for some time and it was nice to be able to do some laundry.
It even had a cute little Koda which we used to grill some hot dogs.
It was so very quiet and we loved it, no interstate traffic or flights overhead.
