The location is good, just at the outskirt of Vitoria Gasteiz. The parking garage is convenient. The room was a good size, but needs some renovation. Old fashioned.

Located in the residential neighborhood of Lakua and with easy access to the city center, since the tram stop is in front of the hotel and at the exit of the city due to its proximity to the highway.

The real joy of Vitoria-Gasteiz is wandering unhurriedly around medieval cobbled streets named after professions once performed there. Stone buildings, an arched gate with a portcullis, and steps climbing gentle hills all add to the atmosphere of life in years gone by.
But that doesn’t mean the Basque Country capital isn’t modern in outlook. In fact, the moving walkway ascending a hill is a stroke of genius. The Europa Conference and Exhibition Centre is a state-of-the-art events venue, and Artium is an innovative collection of Basque Contemporary Art.
Vitoria-Gasteiz also has a fine art museum, near the Basque Parliament building, but the historic charms are the real draw. The old cathedral dates to the 14th century, while the new Cathedral of Mary Immaculate is an impressive neo-Gothic structure. Nearby houses have brightly painted murals which tell a story, best explained on a walking tour.
Porticoed buildings line elegant Plaza de España, and next door is Plaza de la Virgen Blanca with its boxed balconies. Pavement cafes and bars overlook the Monument to Independence, an event commemorated in a Beethoven symphony. A more unusual sight is the museum celebrating the city’s role in playing card production.

In keeping with the great Basque cities on the coast, the old town offered great food/pintxo's but at more affordable prices. The city is beautiful and compact and better for not being on the main tourist trail. I would suggest Vitoria-Gasteiz is ideal for a short stay or as a longer stay base to explore both the coast and Rioja Alavas region.

I was amazed at what a beautiful part of Spain this was. Having never been to this part of the country I was frankly blown away. It is now on my list of places to return to and explore. A really beautiful part of Spain.
The place is very clean and if you did not know you were in Spain it could be easily be mistaken for Austria. Beautiful.

Beautiful old town with atmospheric streets and excellent restaurants. Some good artwork in the Bellas Artes museum. Terrorism museum excellent and worth a lot of time. Avoid Artium _ pretentious crap installations with no explanations other than brief bits of cliched jargon. External murals around the city were well worth seeking out. Cathedral tour was very good. Great tapas bars. Vitoria was a city which exceeded my expectations

This is a grand hotel from a past era, not one of your chain modern hotels. In truth the hotel has seen better days, but it's idiosyncratic nature is what I most like about it. Large rooms with well appointed bathrooms, plenty of power outlets. Location was excellent and within walking distance of the sights and some good restaurants. Staff were very polite and professional.
The staff is very friendly and speaks 3 languages. They upgraded me to a suite for the same price. Everything was clean and the location is ideally close from the town center. It's easy to park too. I really enjoyed the room, which was modern and discreet at the same time. I highly recommend this hotel especially for businessmen.
The location is absolutely perfect to visit the city, and the hotel and rooms are simple yet stylish, with a very special feel and decor. The mattress and pillows are super comfy, you can tell that everything - from the bed linen to the toiletries - is top notch.
It is a simple hotel, everything was as expected, the room was comfortable, bed very comfortable, bathroom fully functional. Location is also amazing, I parked the car and never used it, you can go everywhere by foot. Perfect for a simple, short stay.
Excellent, clean and well presented hotel.
Great location if heading North into France or passing by heading South through Spain.
Superb selection for breakfast .... all fresh and well presented. A bonus having coffee making facilities in the rooms
Nice hotel for a one night travelling somewhere else. Staff was nice and did what they could, wearing many hats and doing a lot of different tasks. You can tell they need help, especially managing the breakfast and reception at the same time.
Excellent location, very well equipped room with kettle and espresso machine in the room with several options for tea or coffee . Very delicious breakfast and great service. Parking under hotel- easy to find from the main entrance.
The hotel is located in the very town centre, near bars & restaurants, shops, monumentos, etc. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. Our room had views to the park and the church San Miguel Arcángel, which we loved!
A very decent and well kept hotel, with a pretty good breakfast and essencial but new and functional facilities. All for a very affordable price, in an era where price of accommodations worldwide went completely out of control.
The hotel was quirky and the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a very cute enclosed balcony. Our room faced onto a pedestrian street in the city centre but it was very quiet at night.
Very modern accommodation, centrally located, tastefully furnished. We liked the in-house restaurant and the hotels signature fragrance that welcomed us upon arrival. We would any time return.
I have been travelling for the last two and a half months, and this hotel was perfect in every way. Clean, beautifully designed, close to everything I needed and run by lovely staff.
The hotel is in an apartment building and upstairs there were normal flats with families living in it that were super noisy and there's nothing you can do about it.
Restaurant facilities good. I have stayed at this hotel twice. Room was large and comfortable, the bar had a good choice of beers. Pleased with both overnights...
Beautiful area, historic building, extremely friendly staff. They gave us a map and pointed out everything to do and all their favorite restaurants and deals!
