This was a great stop on our Camino. It’s a very short walk into town and restaurants. The staff were warm and welcoming, and our room had a gorgeous view of the harbor. As pilgrims, the washer and dryer available to do clothes..with soap already premeasured was a huge gift!

Excellent, family-run hotel, with simple rooms all with balcony views of The Picos and a small subsidiary estuary at the beautiful town of San Vicente. The hotel is positioned right next to the Camino de Santiago del Norte. The owner was more than accommodating in helping me make tea for breakfast, which was very good value.

1) It's not far away from bus station, around 8 mins by foot. But if you don't have a car it can be difficult to go there with luggage because of the hill where pension is located.
2) The garden view is nice

Lovely town for a few nights - plenty of seafood restaurants and old town to wander around. Nice choice of Sandy beaches nearby and Comillas is also a short drive away which is a very old town with quaint buildings and is also where Antoni Gaudi built a house for one of his clients.

I love San Vicente, as it's a beautiful picturesque fishing village, that has delicious food , wide range of choice, lovely warm locals.... Beautiful beaches to find and fabulous countryside to trek in and relax. I would recommend a visit just for the fresh seafood restaurants and the view from the bay of the boats.
For an amazing tortilla de patata I would head to las bodeguis across the bridge, they do a range of tortillas which are the best and tasiest in the village, with a cortado is delicious start to a trip for two is roughly £7.50 euros... You will be hooked once you go there and try the tortilla....

A really pretty seaside town, which although small, has a lot of things to do. It has a castle, lighthouse, cliffs and a big sandy bay. The sea was packed with surfers on the weekend we visited in the middle of October. There are plenty of places to eat, although the majority serve seafood and so you may struggle if you don't eat fish. Highly recommend it for a short break.

Usefully close to Santander (we arrived in the afternoon by ferry) this is a pretty place to stay. Glad we visited off season - it will be very busy in the summer. We wandered around the old cobble streets towards the castle but did not go in as it was close to closing time and we wanted to find somewhere to eat. There are lots of bars and seafood restaurants grouped together on the level, covering most price ranges, some opening 8pm, others earlier. Sitting outside over supper while watching sunset over the water and the old roman bridge was lovely. Friendly people - helps if you speak Spanish.

we arrived on three motorcycles, there is a small area within hotel grounds to park bikes, the hotel is brilliant, it's a grand old building with all its original features, rooms are clean comfortable with all the facilities, the hotel does not do breakfast, there is a cafe 50 meters away which opens at 8.30 and closes at 00.00, there are numerous bars restaurants around, hotel
booking in was easy some English spoken, overall brilliant hotel
It’s a well run and well maintained hotel. Staff were courteous, effective and professional. Our room was spectacular - an upper floor suite with terrace and city and river views. We enjoyed relaxing there in the afternoon sun. Public spaces are also nice. We appreciated the pleasant bar with the French Open on all screens. Great location for touring the old town and for the Camino.
We had a lovely last minute stay at El Posada Labrador! We got in late and the team was so wonderfully accommodating. The room was perfectly appointed and clean, and the beds were among the most comfortable we've found in Spain. Highly recommend breakfast on the front porch in the morning! It's a traditional Spanish spread, but the huge coffee mugs and the view can't be beat :)
We like the bungalow a lot. It was very cosy and all was good. The staff is very friendly, the bungalow was clean and has everything you need to cook. The two bedrooms had a window. Big frigde, small freezer. Little terrace at the bungalow with table and four chairs. The camping is located a small walk to the beach. The surroudings are beautiful! Surf beaches closeby!
We chose this hotel for the view and location - and it did not disappoint! We loved our stay. Simply stunning view from our room #5. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful walks right from the hotel and an easy drive into town (we didn’t walk but you can.) Perfect location to explore the coast. Highly recommend this lovely posada!
It's a great value hotel, well staffed with friendly invested personel. Nice coffee and choice of breads / pastries for breakfast.
The rooms are small and proportioned to the very low, high-season price. They also have a very attractive balcony with magnificent rural views. It is also an attractive walk into the town - but dark at night.
This was perfect for a relaxed couple of days at the end of our tour. Kind hosts, spotlessly clean and comfortable, secure parking for the motorbike, and beautiful view over the bay from our room! Short walk into town (steep steps down from hotel, but fine for us). Highly recommend staying here☺👍
Clean and a friendly staff. The hotel is managed from the cafeteria around the corner. The cafeteria became our place for meals. Staff was very friendly. I left a scarf in the hotel and Carlos was kind enough to make arrangements for me to get it back. Thank you!
Fantastic view over the bay and San Vicente. Spacious, well furnished and presented room. Helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay and the town. We were able to store our bikes safely and access them as we wanted during our stay.
The bedroom was the size we expected and they had made good use of the space. The lady that greeted us was friendly and very informative and the breakfast was lovely. The shower was great, although the step in the bath was unexpected. Perfect location for us.
The nice hostel in the countryside of San Vicente, with beautiful views of surroundings and old town with massive cathedral. Amiable and friendly staff. Good place to stay away from city's busy streets.
Very spacious and clean accommodation and close to the centre of San Vicente. All the household items appeared to be new and the bathrooms were excellent. The neighbourhood is nice.
Very Spacious inside. Great facility. Close to the square once we worked out the best route. Shop across the road is fantastic with fresh fruit and well stocked! Property quiet.
Super clean, nice rooms and common areas, very friendly staff, wonderful location in park setting near San Vicente de la Barquera, Picos de Europa, Nansa, beach, Potes, etc etc.
