We stayed at Ibis Bilbao Barakaldo for one night. It was a nice place and conveniently located near the Max shopping center. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally kind and helpful, making our stay very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, providing all the essentials we needed for a short stay. The hotel also offered a good breakfast selection that helped us start our day off right. Additionally, the location made it easy to explore the nearby attractions and shopping areas. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

A comfortable room just steps away from a Metro stop. Not too far away from the Camino for Pilgrims walking the Camino del Norte. I really liked the personalized digital code to enter the building and room. It was nice not to worry about keys.

The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/manager, so some of the facilities were not available (no restaurant as it was being refurbished). The bed was terribly soft, although I managed to sleep OK. It wasn't a difficult trip into the main part of Barakaldo (this was El Regato) either by car or by bus and there were many walkers the following day, following the river into town

Excellent situation for those persons who wish to catch the Brittany Ferries. The personnel were very good in attentiveness and the meal at night was good. Parking was easy and free

A relatively small neighbourhood not far from the Bilbao historical center. Be prepared to travel by metro for about 15 mins to visit main interesting sites. Makes sense to stay here as hotels are less expensive. A home to the Exhibition Center and extended shopping area.
Very clean, nice staff very helpful on the phone, everything working, hairdryer, shower, very comfortable bed and let me emphasize the pillows are excellent and usually of the hundreds of hotels I have been in the pillows are bloody aweful, but here it's great. Can get Netflix on the TV. Right by the metro line. Very good place, although difficult to initially find the entrance! And way to enter!
Very large appartment with two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, very clean; the landlord was very attentive, offering some bottles of wine at the arrival. The appartment has a large parking car easy to acces ( not too tight); The appartment is in Barakaldo, but since we had a car we didn t mind( actulally was easier leave the city feom here). Perfect appartment!!
Clean and welcoming hotel in a good location near metro (10 minutes walk) and Bilbao (10 minutes by metro) and large mall/designer outlet with big supermarket and food cord within walking distance. Lovely pool with always someone from the hotel on watch. Good expresso. Friendly staff. Convenient private parking space below the hotel.
A nice, bright apartment right in the centre. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped and the kitchen/dining/living area is very pleasant. Barakaldo is lively with good restaurants and bars, plus the market opposite and nearby supermarkets. The metro is nearby for access to central Bilbao and beaches.
Great place to stay. The gentleman that I met was very welcoming, and explained everything I needed to know about the place and Bilbao area. Great wifi, water pressure, comfortable layout. This place was a great stay. Felt at home. Had all amenities one needs to be comfortable.
Location was excellent. Although on an industrial estate, it was a very short walk from a major shopping and eating complex. We walked the 30 minutes into the local area of Barakaldo and had some wonderful local food. Hotel was also very close to the ferry port.
Very good value budget hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Simple clean rooms and good continental breakfast. Ideally located for ferry. Large shopping centre nearby 100metres (like West Quay if you're British) providing range of restaurants and bars.
The hotel has good facilities including a small outdoor swimming pool (but the water was too cold to tolerate for more than a minute or so, even in mid-June) and 4xEV chargers that are free to use. The food at dinner and breakfast was very good.
Not a lot. Breakfast was in an adjacent building very basic but edible. The restaurant was also detached from the hotel. Haviing to go outside each time for drinks etc was not nice. The restaurant and bar were the only ones in the village.
The location just opposed to a metro station is optimal. The staff was helpful. The terrace is quiet. So all in all a nice small hotel in a quiet suburb with excellent connection to the city.
