We had a really good stay! Both the house and the location in Masca Valley is better than what can be expressed in the pictures. Claudia was very helpful and a great host!
You need a car and a to be a fairly confident driver to get up and down the mountain but it's totally worth it in terms of beauty, calm and for the perfect mix of isolation and restaurants and cafés of the center of the Masca village, only 5-10 mins away on foot. Highly recommended!

Quiet location and good parking. The rooms were spacious although my wife found the bed not the most comfortable. I didn't have a problem.

The road to Masca is...well needs getting use to but it well...
The road to Masca is...well needs getting use to but it well worth the trip . Fantastic vistas at every corner and Masca is great for drinks and food just relax . We stayed 1 week found it was just in the right place for seeing the sights of Tenerife. Very quiet no aircraft going over and amazing night sky's.

No bars or restaurants or shops after about 6 o'clock. Very worth it, to eat outside on the lovely terraces and look at the stars. Very quiet with lots of bird song. The gorge is currently closed to walkers as the path collapsed and two people died. Influx of day trippers 10 till 5, when there are nice cafes and bars open.
