Staff at Hotel Goya is friendly, efficient, accommodating and professional. The location is fabulous. Easy walking to all the sites, shopping and eating. My room was quite comfortable. A balcony with a lovely view of the city neighborhood, a full bathroom, a comfortable bed, large closet, good lighting, tv and a desk. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe.

It was a Sunday and a holiday so everywhere was closed. We walked to the castle and enjoyed the sumptuous views then had a nice cold beer in the Barri. We ate in the Parador. Good original and local menu.

Very local and rural city.
Very local and rural city. There are very good restaurants around Ricardo Vinyes square that are worth a visit. Also La Seu Vella is very beautiful and a walk around the old quarter is worth it (Carre Major and surroundings). It might not be the liveliest city of wall during day but it is worth to stop and spend a weekend there. Plenty of bars and pubs for nightlife. The river site is also worth visiting.
If you like to hike, walk, bike or climb, it is the perfect city for you as there are a lot of different routes very nearby the city. I highly recommend it if you look for a super local experience.

Lleida is a university town with history.
Lleida is a university town with history. I stayed there for a meeting at the university, but we got an opportunity to see a bit of the city and the surrounding landscape during an excursion. We visited the cathedral, the artists' vineyard (Mas Blanch i Jove) and the Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet (the latter two are about 50 km away form the city, so you need a car). All was very much worthwhile. Eating out in Lleida was a joy. There was great food and people serve with a smile. I had a great time. Recommended. Lleida has a fast train connection from Barcelona Sants station. You go from the airport to Sants, then get on the high speed train ( 1 h.). Book through renfe.

We needed a stop in our drive from west Spain, so Lleida was a an OK choice, Apart from the fortress at the hill (which has a nice view to the landscape around), there is not much of interest in this town. A blit run down, with some rough neighborhoods.

Mixed feelings, some areas near the parador are run down.
Mixed feelings, some areas near the parador are run down. There is a fantastic old cathedral and castle on a hilltop in the middle of the city. There is a nice restaurant area several blocks away from the parador. The 1.3 km long shopping street has some major brands, a few cafes.
High quality hotel, the personal is very kind and attentive, client focused. The room was great. The late supper (warm vegetables) and the breakfast were qualitative.
The location is good, at 100m of the Rambla and at 10 minutes walking to the place where you can start the visit of the fortifications and cathedral.
I would take the same hotel in case I would return to Lleida.
Comfortable room, basic but fine for a one night stop over. Secure reserved parking was a bonus. English speaking receptionist was friendly and helpful, with directions to the old town and the area where the restaurants were. Good choice at the breakfast buffet - a bargain at €6. Hard to believe it’s a 1 star hotel!
New hotel, simple but has everything you need. Could have parking, but it's calm residential area with lot of places that are free of charge. It's quite close to city center so if not afraid of walking a bit it's perfect choice. Staff was very nice and left my luggage with them after checkout to explore city.
The property is a beautiful historic site, centrally located and close to everything. All the staff were friendly, helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. I ate in both the dining room and cafeteria. Excellent food, great service - so typical of Spain's Paradors. The pricing was very reasonable.
Easy access right off the autopista, and a pretty good breakfast. Rooms were small but clean. A nice restaurant right across the street that was perfect, as there's no restaurant in the hotel. Friendly staff. If the air conditioning worked a little better then this would be the perfect stopover hotel.
Very nice and accommodating reception staff. Clean room, comfortable beds, mini fridge. The hotel restaurant has good food and decent prices. Mercadona supermarket just in front of the hotel. Free street parking within walking distance (3-min walking). Close to the downtown area (15-min walking).
Both the room and bathroom were a decent size. The tub was actually huge. It was concurrent to have free parking so close to Lleida without having to stay in the city. I liked having the amenities like pool and spa at my disposal but we didn't make use of them.
Every thing was perfect for travelling from Barcelona to North of Spain. Great stop over near to main link Road clean comfortable great staff n cheap good breakfast. Thoroughly recommend free easy parking
The location is the best point of the hotel. It is just in front of Lleida station and the lobby is spacious, clean and very comfortable to welcome friends or work colleagues. The breakfast was also good.
the hotel was in a great location for our one night stay. really friendly staff and super clean accommodation. I would definitely stay again if we needed the location on out travels across Spain.
We had arranged for a two night stopin in Lleida but realised that one night was enough for our sightseeing purposes.
Hotel was good but a bit too far from the city centre for our liking.
Very nice hotel, close to the station and center of town, a superb price to value ratio and a good breakfast for a very reasonable price. Would definitely come back.
