Complimentary breakfast was extensive but would have liked to have more variety of pastries!
The bar service on the deck was excellent and the view was lovely. The sun deck and ladder to the sea was wonderful.
We had a triple room with a curved balcony overlooking the beach, ocean, restaurants and Montana Roja. Bathrooms could use some counter space.

Stan picked us up from the local restaurant on arrival and took us around the town to get our bearings, as a host we could not fault him, he was so helpful in every way. The room was beautiful and he brought us a cold beer when we got there. Coffee and pastries were provided for our first breakfast which was a lovely surprise. He was very accommodating, showing us the best restaurants and took us into the larger town to shop. Cannot wait to return. 😍

La Mareta - a tiny village at the seaside with a small beach, shop and a couple of bars. It's totally ok if you come here by car, but if you use public buses - be ready to walk to the main road about 20 minutes up.

The town is small, quiet and peaceful - not many tourists around. There's basically two small shops, two or three restaurants, and a bar, but for us, it was more than enough. There's a small beach too, where it's possible to swim. There aren't any real sights or activities, but ve were happy too trade it for the tranquillity. We havent seen any public transport oprions around, so you'd possibly need a car for staying here. The south airport is really close, the north one is approx. 45 mins away on the motorway.

LA Mareta was a small village close to the sea. The locals were very friendly cortese with me. Once give me ride from the bus stop to the house just because I was with the bags from the supermarket. I Was use to take a dinner to the Blanco Mar, un Italian restaurant close from my house. Great food and alway fresh cooked.
Excellent apartment, Excellent Location,Excellent Hosts
If you are looking for peace and quite this is the place to stay,
But if you can hire a car for exploring and shopping etc,
We will definitely be back next year.
