Famara has one of the best beaches on Lanzarote. The town is lovely and laid back with a 'surfers vibe' with some nice, small bars and restaurants. The beach is wonderful as well. We think that it is worth hiring a car though!

I loved the views, the beach, and the village which had a nice mix of tourists and local residents.
It was quiet at night, as most people were sporty (surfers, walkers cyclists etc) and there were no noisy drunken parties.
It was probably one of the best places for me to stay.
There were several good cafes and restaurants + 2 Supermarkets.
I think I would come back in October ,when the weather is a bit warmer and not quite so windy

Famara is a quiet, laid back, relaxing location.
Famara is a quiet, laid back, relaxing location. It's popular with surfers, as the beach and surf are both excellent. It's also ideal for just chilling out on a break. It's not modern, but has a charm of it's own. Very clean, and the roads have blowing sand at times - but this is part of the attraction. No traffic jams or loud clubs etc like the main tourist centres elsewhere.
It was just what we wanted.

The house was perfect & my overall experience was highly positive....although Northern Lanzarote would be a couple of degrees Celsius cooler (on average per day) than Southern Tenerife (i.e. where I had just come from before traveling to Famara in Lanzarote). Also, in order to do a really BIG shopping, in a large supermarket, you'll need to travel to another town (either by bus or car), as Famara itself is quite small. But that's just the way I liked it : not too big & very quiet at night!

awesome! very long and broad beach, great scenery and not too many tourists. the tourists and the canarian people are friendly and do the best if you ask something. they speak merely english nor german, keep that in mind. you have to speak a few words spanish, but it's ok.

Such a chilled out place on the NW coast of Lanza, renowned for the surf, and the surf lifestyle. It delivers on both counts, with the long, wide beach home to stunning waves set to a glorious backdrop, and the town has plenty of cafes and restaurants ranging from tapas finger food to gourmet delights. Lovely vibe, great town.
The property is good value for money. I stayed with my three teenage sons and was able to give each of them a room. It was easy to communicate with the host by WhatsApp who had good English. The property was well located, within easy walking distance of Famara beach and a quick drive to many other excellent surf locations. It is also right next to a good restaurant and close to the shops. My only concern was whether there would be any noise from the main street. However, I found it very quiet inside the property.
Lovely house, exceptional hosts. Great location. Very clean. We cook alot and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Fantastic family house, loads of towels, bedding. Everything we needed for an enjoyable family holiday. Location was good. Quiet street despite there being a bar/ restaurant close by. Friendly enough neighbours. Always parking available. Nice furniture, really comfy sofa. Well stocked with cleaning supplies. Felt very safe for the kids.
We were the first to stay at the "surfside" and we really enjoyed it. Alejandro has also been super helpful.
The apartment is just behind the beach and very close from the supermarket, restaurants and bars.
Absolutely nothing is missing in the flat, there's even an iron and a board... fully equipped!

We stayed for 4 weeks and have already booked our next stay for November. Everything was perfect - fantastic views from literally every room (you can watch surfers ride the harbour break from the shower!), a roof terrace and balcony, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and Jack is a wonderful host who really cares about the comfort and happiness of his guests.
Perfect location: Beach 20 meters, shop 50 meters, bars 50 meters, surf rentals 50-100 meters. The whole town is super relaxing, you can go out and explore the island or take surf classes and then sleep like a baby in this apartment. And on the next day? Repeat of course! Hosts are kind and easy to communicate with!
This place is an absolute dream! The pool area is hidden from the wind and very private without being overlooked by any neighbours. The restaurant nearby is expensive but exceptional. The walk to the town is nice along the beach and we also enjoyed a few bike rides to the nearby town to stock up on food supplies.
Couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay during my 5 days in Lanzarote the apartment was amazing loads of space great location for getting to restaurants in the evening and the beach is only a short stroll away. The place was super clean and had everything you need to have a great stay! Thank you
Famara is the best spot in the island and this house is licated in the nicest spot. The rooftop is a dream and the house is massive. I would definitely come back to this place even thought a little things werent perfect.

Jordi is a great host, very friendly and helpful. He also has some surfboards to rent for a nice price. I definitly recomment this place to couples, friends and families. The area is quiet and there are lots of good and cheap locals around the flat. Thank you for the nice stay Jordi! :)
Wonderful apartment, perfect for surf locations and forgetting about the rest of the world. Peaceful and serene. If you want modern luxury look elsewhere, if you want to truly escape to the sea in a fabulous place...perfect. Great host and everything you actually need.
Amazing view from the house on the Famara cliff and la Graciosa island. The apartment is super cozy, and the host is great. Perfect location to go around the island by car!
