Guarroman was an excellent town for breaking up a long drive...
Guarroman was an excellent town for breaking up a long drive up to Madrid from Malaga area. Ubeda is a short drive away and makes an excellent day trip. We stayed in a lovely hotel in town. Dining options in Guarroman are limited but there are plenty of places to eat in Ubeda and nearby (eg Bailen). You can also sample local olive oil from several locations in/near town.

Perfectly located in the centre of the town. A stop in Guarroman is highly recommended if only to spend a night at the beautiful, clean and friendly Palacio, eat dinner at the La Mesquite restaurant and stock up on local pastries at the Bermúdez cake shop and cheese at Quesos&Besos!
