Grajera was a good stopping off point on our journey from the south of Spain back to the ferry port in Bilbao. The local staff were helpful and very pleasant. The downside of Grajera, as anything more than a stopping place, is that it contains an incomplete resort (presumably for Madrilenos) with unfinished and unsold houses looking a bit like English streets. There were some sports facilities and an outdoor activity place but it all looked a bit tired and rarely used. Perhaps in the summer it will come to life but we were not confident. As regards facilities in the village, really the bar is the only live spot but it did serve meals throughout the day which were reasonably priced.
