We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very well run. Our room was clean, fresh, spotless, serviced, well presented, everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of variety. Very close walk to beach, cafes, restaurants. Totally recommend.

We loved everything about Finca Goleta - the peaceful and beautiful location on a river near but away from the touristy apartments of Foz, We are bicyclists and launched wonderful rides from Finca to the hilly interior of north-central Galicia (historic and beautiful Mondonedo). We stayed in a lovely, spacious apartment on the property, which has incredible grounds with beautiful flora and orange trees. It had a handy kitchenette and was well furnished. Finca has a lobby bar and we could relax at an outdoor table with a Galician gin and tonic. The breakfast is amazing - varied, plentiful, tasty, and fantastic coffee. But the real treat is having dinner at Finca Goleta after a day of bike riding. The hostess and chef, a charming married couple, provide a five star dining experience with amazing wines at reasonable prices. All we had to do was let them know the same morning that we would be having dinner (don't miss out!). The kitchen is closed on Tuesday nights, but our host recommended a local restaurant only a mile away that was hearty local fare, frequented by folks who lived in the area rather than tourists. We biked into Foz, which has beautiful sea views and beaches but has more traffic; decided not to have dinner there, but should be many options. It was a magical way to end our two week visit to northern Spain and an easy 4 hour drive to Bilbao airport.

This room exceeded our expectations. Very clean and calming atmosphere. Great sitting area outside room. Comfy bed, great shower, water provided and fridge and working and efficient A/C. We had our dog with us and they had food and water bowls waiting in the room, along with a tennis ball and a dog bed which he loved. Great stay! Didn't visit the beach, but the walkway all around the beaches was spectacular.

You know when the rooms have names instead of numbers, that they did a good job at it! Great interior design, attention to detail, the room was very clean and not too small, hairdryer, TV, kind staff. There was also free hotel parking, and there were 9 interior parking spaces, but the street outside also had plenty of free spots.
Isla Nova Hotel is in a perfect location - one block away from the beach and many great restaurants. The rooms, and the service we received were impeccable. The owner was such a delightful and gracious host and he ensured we had a delightful stay. I would highly recommend this beautiful and modern hotel to anyone coming to visit this amazing area along the Cantabrian Sea!

Wonderful apartment with everything we might need. At the entrance to the city of Foz which is quite nice and a great spot from which to explore the coast nearby. The host is quite helpful and theres a parking space in the garage for anyone who travels by car.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The room was clean and well provided with everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was really excellent, and there were even homemade cakes! There’s no parking, but plenty of on street spaces.

Nice charming old family house converted to a small hotel. Friendly attentive staff. Home made products for breakfast including orange juice from the old orange tree in the grounds and nectarines straight from the tree.
