Location and the views are breathtaking. The property is lovely, quiet, and absolutely memorable. Great hiking and very close to Andorra if you want a day trip. Staff, family members are caring, polite and welcoming.

Located by the River Valira, Hotel Restaurante La Glorieta is just outside La Seu d’Urgell in the Catalan Pyrenees. It offers an outdoor pool and rooms with a flat-screen TV and private balcony.
The owner of this small hotel is very friendly, she left a kind note for us, as we arrived a bit later than planned. The room including the bathroom was nice and spacious, furnished with atmospheric solid wood furniture. Of course the balcony with the nice view of the valley is the highlight.
Estamariu itself is a beautiful picturesque village high above the valley, with many interesting historical sights (don't miss the Romanesque painted church). 15 minutes to Seu d'Urgell and under one hour to Andorra.
We had stayed in Estamariu before so knew that it was a quiet place and off the beaten track. The hotel was quiet also as it was out of season, which suited us perfectly. Alex the manager was attentive but not intrusive and we felt very comfortable staying there.
If you don't see what you like at breakfast ask and they will try to accommodate your wishes.
The hotel is located on the top of a mountain with the most incredible views. There is so much personality in this place, all the food is from the surroundings and the people working there really care for you.
We had a magical stay at the hotel! The room was very cosy, the views spectacular and the service absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Pablo and the rest of the team for making all of us feel so welcomed.
As a small hotel, it does not have much variety in the breakfast area but everything is excellent quality and freshly made.
