This is a hotel full of character and history. It was a great place for a break during our hike on the GR1.

The host is super-friendly and offered to pick me up at the Ayerbe, the train station which is most convenient to Agüero and Villa Garibaldi. Agüero is a stunning Aragonese town backed by pinkish mallos... and Villa Garibaldi is constructed right beneath the mallos, so has an exquisite view back onto the town of Agüero. His place is very convenient to the trail which encircles the mallos, a several kilometer walk including some elevation changes, but always with stunning views. The town is very convenient and I loved meandering the alleyways, visiting the town cemetery, marvelling at the orchards which included olives, almonds, and others. Agüero is a bit like Spain of yesteryear...rural, well-kept, safe... and I loved it.
My room was cozy and I made use of the kitchen and dining area. So, you can bring your own food. Agüero may or may not have a restaurant or store..so plan appropriately!....
Located on the outskirts of this charming village, and set within magical scenery, this rural apart-hotel offers a tranquil setting where you can relax and get away from it all.

wonderful spot in the country looking out at spectacular rock hillsides. great and well designed rooms give the feel of having your own house. Staff were attentive to every detail.

Small room and bathroom, but adequate and good value. Exceptionally friendly and helpful manager who went out of his way to help us.
Stunning location, and superb restaurant with local ingredients and specialising in delicious tender slow cooked dishes.
Owner spoke really good english and was helpful explaining the ethos of the hotel and the food.
Very safe location, no secure parking for motorcycles but left without issue below room window
