The staff was friendly, the room was very clean. The view from the windows is very good, and a balcony is big and inviting. It's a very quiet place, a real countryside, but a bit far from all the major attractions. Recommend to those who like peace and quiet .

I have never slept so soundly in my life. The white noise of Rio Umia is hypnotic. You just sink into the bed, and never want to leave. Americans were walking around this place shaking their heads at the value of this luxurious old textile facility. We feel lucky to have stayed here supported by such a caring staff. Our waitress at the restaurant introduced us to our new favorite wine. Make sure to take the trail from the hotel downstream to the Roman bridge and beyond. You will want to live here.
