Nice historical city, nice view point from the castle, but nothing more to see there, unfortunately the shops were closed btw 11-17o'clock, some restaurants were open to have a beverage. For short visit it is sufficient.

A beautiful town, with great hikes available in the area. There are also several beaches, although they require some hiking to get to, but are absolutely stunning. This is a lovely destination for out-of-season travel! We were here in March and it was perfect. We were warned that it becomes very very busy in summer.

Medieval village, well looked after, quiet, espectacular views from the castle, nice houses and stroll.
It depends of what you're looking for. I have heard is very busy during high season so, too small for a crowd. A car is needed to get there and to move around the area. However, parking facilities are scarce.

Going to the beaches and walking from beach to beach was very enjoyable.
We used the summer bus to get to and from the beaches, only one Euro, but the last day of the bus was 17th September so after that we took a taxi, 19 euro each way.
It wasn't easy to find a table to eat in Begur when we Spoke English, luckily my partners French is very good, we appeared to get better service when he talked French.

Beautiful old town with a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy to get to the beach by bus. It's not great for cars as very narrow streets and I'm not sure about parking. Would definitely recommend as a holiday destination. This area of Spain seems to have escaped high rise buildings - it has a Majorcan feel about it. Definitely worth a trip!
I liked absolutely everything! The hotel is located on the Mediterranean coast, about 2 hours north of Barcelona. The landscape is breathtaking! The buildings and facilities are very well adapted to the environment and most rooms have a marvelous view. The staff is extremely friendly and service-oriented. We were always greeted with a smile and even our special request were carried out immediately. There is even a miniature private beach to be used by hotel guests! And the food is very well-prepared and quite varied.
Anca and Manel were fantastic hosts! Extremely friendly and helpful. There was a lovely laid back, peaceful atmosphere in the hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything you needed. Nice pool and kept very clean. The breakfast was delicious and and had a wide variety. The eggs were so good. The location is perfect. 2 min walk into the main square (by the church) of Begur. Highly recommend this hotel and DEFINITELY deserves more than 2 stars.
The hotel is very nice. The decor, grounds and pool were lovely. We had the room with a castle view which was special. The location is ideal to walk to the various coves dotted along the coastline. The staff is superb. The breakfast is generous, fresh and delicious. We ate at two nearby restaurants L'autèntic and La Pizzeta and recommend both without hesitation. Also, make a stop at the patisserie Pa de Pessic. The candied oranges are a wonderful and unique treat
The location can’t be beat. Stunning views and our room had a large, comfortable balcony. Easy access to the Cami de Ronda felt like a privilege! Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely. Access to the pool/beach club was really nice but it was extremely busy and we had a hard time finding a chair let alone two together (this is because it is shared with the neighboring condos/hotel next door) so get there early!
A nice, sensible hotel bang in the middle of Begùr, about 100m from town square. It’s made up of two buildings that have been joined together, and will not win prizes for architecture. But the rooms are perfectly adequate, spotlessly clean, air-conditioned and relatively quiet. Breakfast was cheerfully served, with nice patisserie and a good selection of extras available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Brilliant location, staff was amazing, one of the best rooftops in town literally on the hotel itself, breakfast was good with nice variation and turns due to Covid which was great, plenty of recommendations from the hotel owner, the room was really beautiful and comfortable, they offered towels for the beach/pool. It was just an amazing place to stay and it made out stay in the Costa Brava just more magical.
Stunning hotel perched on a hilltop overlooking breathtaking views of the costa brava. Down the hill is access to a beautiful beach nestled in a cove. Perfect for an escape from a busy life, including lovely spa with pools overlooking the cove. Half board option added value to the experience.
Views. Views. Views. Rooms are spacious, very modern and clean. Restaurant is superb. Views from the room are simply amazing. Walk down to beach or drive to fishing villages nearby. This was our best Parador stay by a mile!
Beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance of the centre of lovely Begur ! . Liked the little touches like to chocolates on arrival and daily water ! Liked also the complimentary teas and coffees during the day .
Stunning view and private pool for the hotel; private beach for the hotel and adjacent serviced apartments with ample seating and umbrellas with pontoon; great breakfast included; located near some divine beaches.
This is a quiet but very comfortable hotel, situated 2 minutes drive from Begur half way to Sa Riera. The staff were always attentive and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are comfortable and original.
We really loved the hotel, it was central and the personnel was so nice!!! We enjoyed every minute of our vacation, we will definitely come back to Begur. Thank you so much for this lovely stay!!!
The view is absolutely stunning. There are beautiful small beaches nearby with walking paths. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. The communication with the owner was very smooth.
The hotel is very cozy, clean and with a location in the center of the old town of Begur, a great place for a weekend.Very helpful staff. I would recommend it 😊
