Nice check-in, friendly, comfortable bed, super location not next, but actually in the train station. That means zero time between arriving and checking in and vice versa. Very generous, very generous breakfast.
At the foot of “La Molina” ski station, next to the Llarga slope; this is a perfect spot for ski-lovers. Rooms are exterior facing and come equipped with all commodities.

Everything. This place is straight out of a fairytale. The room was lovely, the location was superb, the views from the dining area were magical. Dinner was out of this world.

The owner was very sweet and earnest. Plentiful breakfast once we overcame the language barrier. Wonderful fireplace in common room when there are a lot of guests. Good wifi.

La Molina is a lovely small Alpine resort. Busier at the weekends with Catalan skiers. Lovely family atmosphere, probably not a great Apres Ski scene, but that was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (8 & 5)

Alp is a quaint and quiet little village at the bottom of Masella ski resort in the valley of Cerdanya. It has a nice quantity of restaurants, bars and shops and a large supermarket. It's very easy to get to and a great starting point to explore the valley.
The village's main attraction is the ski resort of Masella, which is only a 10 minute drive up the mountain from the city center. It is also slap bang in front of the Cerdanya Airdrome, which hosts many hot air balloon teams and gliders and flights can be arranged easily by visiting the airdrome.
Alp's occupancy changes very much with the seasons and many of its apartments are available for short term rental.
For skis hire, avoid the shops at the resort and go for SKIM in the main road at nearby Molina. Cal Padri and Ca L'eudald are good restaurants and a Casino d'Alp is great bar and tapas place. David's Pizzeria is home of some of the most expensive and underwhelming pizzas I every had the misfortune to wait an hour for!
The hotel is located in a quiet area of Alp with roadside parking outside.
It is a homely hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food and drink.
The crowning glory of this hotel is the restaurant; it has a choice of eating areas; indoors, outside under a marquee or in the garden. The chef was extremely helpful and the food was superb. I don’t recall when I last tasted food so good!
Fantastic place. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is very well located in the center of the town. The indoor parking is a huge bonus. The breakfast was very good, many options to choose.
This little gem of a hotel can not be recommended highly enough! We loved every minute of our stay here. The staff were exceptional.
