Cute quirky little place right in the main square. I liked that it was a bit weird. The outdoor patio was nice to have. Location was great, albeit a bit loud at times.
Good location in the old town. Interesting and friendly little town. Bistros/Bars close by. Good atmosphere. Quite close to the bus station.
No Wi-Fi working. Bed was too short with an old mattress.
Staff member was helpful.

Aguimes is a small town with little to hold a visitor more than half a day, but it makes a good stop for the first or final night because it is just 30 minutes fron the airport by hourly bus service 11.

A lovely old town, with narrow winding streets and many attractive statues. You need to park away from the centre and walk in. Nice cafes on Plaza del Rosario by the church, and on Plaza San Anton. Excellent historical museum. Approach roads from all directions quite winding: drive slowly and ignore the person nuzzling your exhaust pipe. Rather limited shops, but several supermarkets. Ingenio and Cruz de Arinaga have more choice.

Close to the airport yet inland and local, Aguimes is an elegant small town with bags of character. The central square in the old town is shady and surrounded by small bars and a couple of restaurants. It is a lovely place to wander and have lunch.
I have stayed in a casa rural for a week here and it is a good (less touristy) place to explore but only 10 minutes from the coast. Lots of good hiking close -both directly from the town and also a few minutes drive away.

Very quiet little place but does have a few restaurants and bars - not as warm as on the south coast. Recommended for those who want to escape the busy resorts in the south. Car recommended unless you're a dedicated walker.
if you want to see Gran Canaria from a totally different perspective, away from the big hotels, and you like a rural life style with all kinds of animals in the vicinity, this is the place to stay.
A small equestrian center, surrounded by stunning mountain views, yet close enough to the airport, quaint towns, ravines and beaches. The host family is extremely welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Our apartment in a converted horse stable was perfectly clean and new, and had everything we could wish for.
Hosts where quick to respond and give us the relevant info we needed about checking in and out! They also left us some treats in the fridge and on the table which was a very welcome surprise!
The flat was clean, bright and airy and a great location for Aguimes! It also had all the extras you could need, iron, hair dryer, herbs and spices, washing detergent etc and even straighteners if you need them!
Would definitely stay again, great for couples or families!
The Finca was amazing, with extensive grounds, as they grow their own olive trees. A very unusual place to stay - and actually much nicer than the pictures show. Just outside Aguimes so very peaceful with an amazing landscape. Aguimes old town is charming and beautifully preserved. The apartment was spotless and of a very high standard and Diana was so helpful, bringing us fresh bread from the bakery every morning. And very good value.
Close to the airport and unique, not an international anonymous hotel.
A hidden paradise behind wooden doors - so nice to relax in and so welcome after a flight.
Because it was listed as a B&B, we didn't expect to be offered evening food - but we were, and it was greatly appreciated and good.
Short and flat walk to explore the old town (one of the oldest and prettiest on the island) the next morning.
Great rural location just outside the historic town of Aguimes
The Finca is a wonderful oasis with several apartments arranged around a communal swimming pool but each with their own small terrace where we ate outside
Diane us a great host providing a warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay
This house is the best! It's a tipical canarian house in picturesque town of Aguimes. Everything is so pretty, just a perfect place to hang out and enjoy. They even have two parrots which they let out. If I return to GC, I would definitely return here for couple of nights. Perfect!
Great location on the edge of the village. Quiet but easy walk to shops and cafes. Very well equipped. lots of space and sunny all day. Agüimes is a great base for exploring the island.
