Underrated City!
Tõrva is very family friendly. It has two lakes perfect for swimming and a playground close to it. For more action I recommend playing some Frisbee golf!
Check out the second hand shops and bakeries if you wanna spend some money.
On some evenings you can have amazing concerts in pubi juudas and enjoy a local beer.
Every day, busses go to bigger cities if that is not enough. From here you can have daytrips to the beautiful oldtown of Viljandi (Fellin, ca 1h) or the Latvian border in Valga (ca 30 min).
Tõrva is easy to reach by bus from Tallinn or Riga in about 3 hours and 30 min. That costs around 15 euros.
A beautiful boutique hotel set in large gardens, with a very accommodating proprietor who cheerfully waited up for our (very) late arrival (after 01.00am) and provided a delicious breakfast the next morning. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful large shared balcony, and the hotel is within comfortable walking distance of the town.
Everything, what you got for the price was amazing. There was a gym that you could use 24/7, a really nice hot tub and sauna. The host was very friendly and accomodating. And it was in a perfect spot, really close to the center of Tõrva and next to a shop that had everything you could've asked for.
Nice hotel, very good spa - pool and jacuzzi and bar. The room is good, beds are comfortable. There disc golf park to play game or just to have a walk near the hotel.
