It's a beautiful city, but there is nothing to do in the colder weather. Everything closes quickly on Sundays. I recommend visiting this city in the warmer months of the year. Definitely check out Mini Zoo!

Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

I didn't stay long, as it was just a place for me to stay in the hotel and have lunch, but I will never cease to be amazed, at how nice Parnu is every time I visit this place.
We had food at 'Vehverments Bar & Tostadas' and I was very impressed by how delicious and affordable it was. Yellow hummus is a must-try!

Pärnu is lovely with lots of trees and green areas as well as old buildings on the seaside of the bridge. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Summer time, and plenty of activities for kids and adults.
Not all places, especially hotels, have good vegan options yet. Also the sea brings a lot of humidity so drying laundry can be challenging and some buildings have mold problems. I definitely do not recommend staying in a wooden building if you have any sensitivity to mold.
Pärnu beach is very long and shallow, making it safe for kids. The rest of the old town side is also otherwise safe, so I'd definitely recommend the destination to families or elderly people.

Pärnu is major Estonian resort city. If it is hot day the Pärnu Beach, it the place to go. Beach has big female nudist area. Beach has good quality sand and long shallow bathing area. City has lot of big resort hotels with numerous Spa, health healing facilities and water centres. These hotels are close to the beach area. Beach area itself is well developed and has lot of villas and parks nearby. City itself has small town atmosphere and the centre is lovely with lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can walk everywhere City is not overcrowded (except in hot summer days) and is good place to have a short 2–4-day holiday. City is popular among Finnish tourists.
Try cafe “Supelsaksad” nice food and cakes, hotel “Tervise Paradiis” for kids water center, hotel “Estonia” and “Tervis” for medical facilities, hotel “Villa Ammende”, “Hedon” or “Wasa” for upscale Spa holiday. Pärnu has popular theatre “Endla” (only Estonian) and philharmonic concert hall (concerts and festivals year round). There are numerous sport facilities, good tennis grounds, excellent golf course is 20m drive from city center.

During our short stay in Pärnu, we enjoyed the beautiful beach, explored the charming city streets, and found a great playground for the kids. We would love to return for a longer visit and further explore the city's captivating charm, inviting beaches, and family-friendly attractions.
The hotel comes with free Spa and free breakfast. Its caters mainly People from Finland who are happy with the good prices for alcohol. The rooms seem to remember the Russion Aera, The bathroom has no shower curtain. The breakfast choices are vast, but of cheap qualtity. Most of the customers do not mind and stuff their plates, it is all you can eat. The Spa is nice, the whirlpool water very hot. You can spend a few hours therer or warm up after you come in from the cold.
It's just a best location you can have in Pärnu. I tell you that as person, who grown up there :) it's right between beach and center of the town (actually you can say it's on the beachside of the center) and in the best possible place - you can walk to beach to iconic Supeluse tänav which is just a chill out paradise ourdays.

A very nice and clean apartment with an ideal location close to the beach. A good-sized balcony was a big plus. I liked the keyless check-in system very much. The owner was very kind and responsive. I had some problems with the drain in the shower, and it was fixed almost immediately. I would definitely go back when I visit the beautiful Pärnu again.
The reception and how they were helpfhul was just one off the best experiences I have received in Estonia. Besides the great support and family friendly attitude the rooms were nice and quiet, SPA was clean, breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the location as well. 5 minutes walking to the beach and right next to the park.
We stayed at WASA several times but never in the resort's historical part, which was fantastic. The room was spacious, with a large balcony. Breakfast was, as always, exceptional, with a variety of food. The spa is accessible all day and has a calm vibe. We like WASA resort—one of the top spa resorts in Parnu—and we love it here.
I really liked wooden interior. Hostel it's located in quiet area and we slept very well. Owner is very friendly! She showed me everything in kitchen, we had small talk about Estonia, Parnu and she advised us wich places to visit in Parnu. Really caring person - we felt like we stay in cousins house. :)
A beautiful and cozy hotel just in the middle of Old Town of Pärnu, and most of all the friendliest staff you can imagine. A good night's sleep in comfortable beds. A very atmospheric restaurant. Our baby slept better there than in months :) A washing machine was a nice surprise.
Everything was perfect - the location, the design, the character of the building and very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel was very quiet with the most comfortable bed and pillows that was exactly what I desired for a rest after enjoying beautiful Pärnu.
Nice and kind of an authentic atmosphere. Though Pärnu center / beach area is relativeli compact anyway, the location of the hotel is very good. Good selection of breakfast. Small children’s playroom also nice value add.
The spa was nice. The only thing really nice about the hotel. Everything else was super dated and old and really for older people. I didnt see a person below 40 the entire time I was there.
Very good location, everything is near (shops, beach, bus station etc.). Quiet neighborhood. Helpful friendly host. All in all, very good, would stay again when in Pärnu.
Value wasn’t so good , that I was thinking. Price is too much, I think. Hotel is Ok, but not super. Brekfast was Ok, bit nothing extra.
