This is a nice budget accommodation if you are staying in Svenborg. We arrived late and caught the ferry in the morning, so it worked for us. There is a fridge with a shelf, if you are traveling with perishables. Check-in does not require meeting the owners, which is helpful.

Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by.
A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.

Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.

We were supposed to move to Odense, but we fell in love with...
We were supposed to move to Odense, but we fell in love with Svendborg and decided to look for an apartment here. It is a truly magical place with its good people. It fits old and young just perfectly. Great architecture. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here
This was such a nice place to stay in Svendborg! The host was really friendly and you could use all the facilities (together with two other guests). It is located near the city-centre so that you could reach everything by foot. The breakfast was really nice with great atmosphere. The host took care of the covid-19 rules and prepared breakfast for each group of guests separately. We could freely choose the time and I had everything I wanted. I can just truly recommend this play to stay - a sweet spot!
This is The Perfect B&B ! Nice location with private parking lot, all facilities you need are present. And a modern bathroom with a shower WITHOUT a (dirty) shower curtain, like in many expensive hotels.... Danish hotels & B&B's do not realise that (always dirty) sloppy shower curtains are a thing from the past.... Good breakfast brought to your door by the very friendly owner(s). And even the TV-Chrome-cast worked perfectly on a foreign (Belgian) tablet.

4 parking spaces at rear of hotel (small tight spaces though), 1 hour parking out front for about 6 cars (free from 18:00 to 9:00) but opposite bus station, paid multi-storey parking behind hotel (free from 18:00 to 9:00, no ticket required in this period) which is what we used.
The property has an exceptionally gorgeous view. Loved the patio, garden and the private pier. The reception and dining areas are elegantly decked and the whole place has a wonderful, sophisticated air. The proximity to Svendborg & Tåsinge is an added advantage. The bed and furnishings are also very comfortable.
The hotel was great, but remember to check for restaurant availability; Stella Maris is somewhat outside Svendborg center, and Svendborg restarurants are not as high class as Stella Maris (I suppose).
it was disappointing that there was no possibility to get a table in the restaurant with 24 hours notice.
This hotel has no staff on the premises. Everything is done by intercom. The room was modern and clean; the bed, comfortable. There is no place for breakfast nearby, except 7-11. It is close to the train station and the ferry terminal. There are several restaurants within a couple of blocks.
great view, a phantastic breakfast, we stayed in the new building (with seminar rooms) which was great with intersting architecture & style, rooms to garden/sea side were phantastic!!.. - and a very gentle & friendly staff to mention .. we highly enjoyed this hotel!
Very good and plentiful breakfast, as well as courteous service in the restaurant. Walking distance to old town, harbor, and good variety of nearby restaurants.
The rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds.
It was good only that there were not ttv for my kids for five days it was boring for us because me and my husband get married also in Denmark on the 26th March just a day after will arrive the apartment
You should use shoes in the shower it was great and it was a perfect price seriously we came for our wedding in Ærøskøbing and this was the best location close to bus and train station and sea!
This is a great location. if you’re travelling across Denmark or destination all by itself. Great restaurant food was amazing in particular the rhubarb /strawberry ice cream soup desert.
Breakfast was excellent, exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient for our day trip to Aero Island and close proximity to the pedestrian walking area of Svendborg.
Great little hotel. Beautiful old fashioned lobby and bar upon entry and the rooms were huge and well appointed. Even had a small separate kitchen room. Highly recommended.
