The place was super nice and our room was very clean. We were really surprised because we didn't expect anything since we booked this place at the last minute. They gave you detailed instructions on your email if you arrive there late, which we did.

The trip on the 207 bus from Roskilde to the destination was a great experience. A short 300 hundred metre walk from the stop was very easy and being away from main roads was wonderfully quiet. A great place to stay! Bicycles were also provided and riding was easy.

First of all we planned to use the hotel as a base to make a trip to Copenhagen, which worked very well.
All the museums in Roskilde were closed on Monday, which in a dreadful weather turned out to be a nuisance.

We went for a little walk around the harbor, it was great, Another day a little tour of the neighboring building was also OK, was up by a small church next door to, but it was locked. The last day we drove out to Superkoi, it was fantastic a really nice exhibition of 3000m2 they had out there, and incredibly nice staff.

Roskilde is a walking city in which you can visit the Viking Ship Museum and Cathedral very easily in one day without feeling rushed. As well, there are numerous good restaurants and shopping available. Enjoyed doing our own self guided walking tour. With the city celebrating its 1,000 year Anniversary there are many highlights from the Middle Ages to view.

Roskilde is a charming town, full of character and history.
Roskilde is a charming town, full of character and history. The cathedral was lovely, the red brick interior making it very distinctive from the cathedrals we have seen elsewhere in Europe. The harbor area was charming, highlighted by the Viking Ship Museum, which features five boats recovered from the floor of the fjord, where they had been scuttled as a protective barrier almost a thousand years ago. We had several very good meals in a couple of the restaurants around the main square, as well as some of the best hot dogs we've ever eaten (from the food stand on the square). The people were all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!
Traveled for a sewing course. Very comfortable hotel, I'm guessing standard Danish breakfast, which was also good. I did not know, and was not notified that the hotel restaurant would be closed for an event on 21 May (and Sunday, 22 May). But the receptionist was excellent, trying to find us a place, but everything was fully booked. So, I asked, since there were 8 events going on, and the kitchen responded by preparing dinner plates for my friend and I. We were so thankful - tired and hungry after our class, with nowhere to go to eat!
The owners were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was quaint and very comfortable - it had a bathroom with great water pressure, a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a coffee/tea station, a comfortable bed, and a table/chair sitting area. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful garden in which to sit and listen to the birds in the nearby meadows. The location is quiet and away from town, but only a few minutes away from the heart of Roskilde. I would stay there again.
My stay at Yohanna's was just magical! I loved the spot, which gives an amazing idea of how peaceful rural Denmark is. At the same time it's very close to the town of Roskilde, just 10-15 mind by bike or bus. The room was lovely and the space shining clean. The hostess is truly kind, flexible and makes you feel comfortable. There was coffee and tea included so you can enjoy a morning cup while sitting in the beautiful yard.
A very good choise for a family tarvelling with a car to stay for some nights. The location is very good, 5-10 min drive to Roskilde food stores, restaurants, beach and 30 min drive to Copenhagen downtown. Nature is near, good hiking opportunities, and even fishing on a lake near by. The appartment is in an exceptional condition, the host live in the house next door, very nice and hospitable people! Highly recommended!
When the staff could be found (which was surprisingly hard), they were friendly and helpful. Convenient free parking. The bed was comfortable and (despite the weird furniture) the room was clean and a decent size. There was a nice view of the fjord from the room window.
I lost an article of clothing in the parking lot. It was found and turned in, and when we came back to get it, it was even neatly folded!
Location is excellent if you are traveling by train. There is no parking available. The apartment is located on a pedestrian street. Everything is on the doorstep, train station, grocery stores, restaurants and shops.
Beautiful walks all around this area.
I found it very easy finding the lockbox and letting myself in.
The apartment is very comfortable. With a great layout.
Location was fantastic - on a walkable street, great cafes around, right next to the train station, close to the harbor, etc. Bed was super comfy and we slept wonderfully. Very spacious place, nice living room area with options for seating. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was great and spacious.
The location is perfect. The hotel is located on a walking street, close to all sort of shops and markets. Hospital ,bus- & train stations are just few 100 meters away. That’s why I prefer it. Rooms are fine as per cleanliness. Though can get even better. It’s a good place for a short stay.
The location was fantastic! View over the fields to the Dom of Roskilde. Cows, pheasants right in front of your window! Very comfortable beds. Quiet, modern and very new rooms, lovely decorated. Very friendly hosts! A place to recommend and come again!
Great place to stay outside Roskilde (if you have a car). Cottage was larger than expected and had everything we needed.
Anne was a wonderful host. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Scandic is in a great location with waking paths around the grounds and into town. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices.
