Nice, clean, new facility. Room was large and nicely furnished. We have a car so the few kilometers from the center of Koge were not a problem. The street was a little noisy but after about 10 pm, there wasn't much traffic. After reading some of the concerns expressed by prior guests, we were pleasantly surprised. We would stay again.
Surrounded by nature, Troldegaarden B&B is 10 minutes' drive from central Køge. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and free private parking is available on site.

The owner is superkind, available and clearly enthusiastic about how she arranged her Guesthouse. She has many cute animals that she can introduce you to. It's relatively quiet, in a rural setting not far (by car) from Stevns Klint, Roskilde, ...
Surrounded by greenery, only 40 minutes’ drive from Copenhagen, this peaceful countryside hotel offers neat, cozy accommodations with a free breakfast buffet and complimentary private parking.
I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike.
I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.

We arrived late lunchtime so decided to eat at Café Vanilla, which provided us with a fine meal. There are plenty of other eateries - some dead expensive. We eat at Vivaldi over the w/e without a reservation, but be warned - we found the portions quite generous.
Køge centro is a pleasant little town to visit. We came in a few times - often after a walk along the coast. It's a good walk into town from the bay though.
Stacy's Diner is definitely worth a look, and the nearby marina is open and welcoming to tourists. There is a swimming lagoon if you are feeling brave.

A very quaint and attractive town.
A very quaint and attractive town. Some fantastic old buildings and a pretty cobbled square. Good selection of places to eat albeit rather pricey. Virtually everyone speaks English. There is a super model village of the town as it was in 1865 built on a scale of 1 in 10. Definitely worth a visit. The staff in the Information Office in the square are friendly and knowledgeable.
Really Good Bed.
Clean general surroundings, room and common area.
Every room has built in sink and allergy friendly hand soap, desk area, tv, bed table, extra pillows.
Two towels, water boiler, tea and coffee.
The breakfast buffet was lovely, fresh and the hotel staff quick to clean up after guests and super helpful.
There is also 4 parking 🅿️ slots for the hotel in the courtyard, and a balcony w.furnitures and blankets for a nice cosy time outside w. Your tea.
Really cool historical decor and interior as well.
Really helpfull staff that helped with everything we needed. The food was amazing, rooms were clean, location is great and if you have a room with sea view - you can enjoy it. We loved it! It is a short walking tour to the center of the town for sightseeing - lovely place! Visit the mini Køge town next to the hotell and the camping place next to the hotell - lot of fun for kids there with trampoline and mini-golf.
Thanks to Køge Guesthouse for very warm staying. The place is quite and clean. The neighborhood is very safe, not far from the center of the town. 15 minutes walking. Mall is nearby. I particularly liked decorations inside: paintings, small boxes, all the vintage stuff. It really looks like home. That's why I love staying in apartments more than in hotels :)) Atmosphere is wonderful!
We just stayed one night. Everything was ok. Welcome at the reception was professional and fast. Room with view in the garden was ok, as standard. Worth to be mentioned, a small seating place at the window was nice.
Breakfast was very good. Good variety of choices.
The hotel was calm and located close to the Harbour area with a lot of restaurants.
Nice place to stay.
We really liked being on the farm with its animals and woods near by. Our kids got to say hello to the horses, ponies, donkey’s, cows, fish, sheep, alpaca, cats and dogs. Also from here we explored the surrounding area and went into Køge to eat.
The place is adorable and clean. Perfect location to explore Køge, and it even has a little dock on the canal behind the property. Staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable. I made use of the coffee and pastries they provided.
Super if you're visiting Copenhagen and surroundings by car. Nestled in a beautiful landscape with a great room (and extra beds if needed), with plenty of parking. Close to highways, historical Køge city, the marina and beaches.
Everything was very good except breakfast, which was exceptionally very good :) You may say nothing special, just good simple Scandinavian-style hotel, but for me one of the best hotels I've ever been.
The key was left at the door. There were no breakfast nor any staff in the hotel. If ordering a breakfast/meals from nearby restaurants would have been possible, it would have been excellent.
The breaksfast really good and the owners, she very frindly. The location hotel is ideal for visiting Cophenguen by train. Really was a good decision for us.
