The hotel is perfect for couples. The room looks romantic and not suitable for children. We wanted to spend quality time without noisy from neighbors or other families. The favorite one is the complimentary sauna for a couple in a romantic room. A sauna session with a partner in the winter is the most relaxing thing what we need after playing ski or other sport activities. We find the hotel very suitable for our needs. We will definitely come here again!

Wow! The location was awesome and having the ski rental right at the resort was perfect! Just a five minute walk and you’re at the lift.
Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Room was small but nice and clean.

The pillows were by far the best we had in any hotel in Germany! Spectacular night sleep. Would go back just for those, but the sauna with panoramic view completes the awesomeness of this place.
On top of the outside pool (which gets a great view of the sunset), there is a gigantic indoor pool (this one unfortunately closes at 19h) and a great indoor wellness part that stays open until late.

The rooms were great and the staff was very nice. We had bread, fruit yoghurt and fresh coffee which is a good breakfast i think and with that we could walk to the next bus station to get to the dirtmasters festival and meet our friends

Although there was not a lot of snow, some areas were still open as they provided fake snow for people to ski. This was perfect for my partner and me as we were still beginners with skiing. Therefore, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to start learning to ski. Also, things were quite cheap there regarding food/ groceries and also leisure such as going to a wellness center.

The area is a professional ski resort and has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, we had no snow in the first week of the year.
Aside of snow sports, I can recommend the indoor playground MonkeyIsland because of the fair prices and their kind service. Our kids had a lot of fun there. Also, the wild park in Willingen filled a whole day of fun for all ages.

Perfect location, everything’s near! Wonderful views of the room we had..Mountain View and lawn view plus the sound of the rooster not only early in the morning cockadoodling but during the day as well! Makes you feel in a remote village.
Breakfast was ample and sumptuous, friendly staffs, lovely ambience, everything is neat. We had massage as well and it was so relaxing 4 nights stay at this lovely hotel! The small cozy restaurant served scrumptious schnitzel and trout fish and with portion of fresh green salad.
However, we didn’t enjoy the swimming pool, twas not warm enough!
Would love to come back and stay here again!

Winterberg is nice but the remaining adjoining towns are not as easy. Many of them do not have open restaurants for tourists. So do book a hotel and B&B that serve meals.
Apart from food and meals, everything else in Winterberg is absolutely splendid especially trekking and snow boarding

It was OK tot sleep, but nothing more than that. The menu for diner is poor and breakfast war regular. Nothing special. Ihe hotel has a outdated impression ans as we think a bit of delayed maintenance. Possible because of corona?
Great location in the center of Winterberg. Brand new place, everything was as good as it gets and brand new. All of the needed facilities and more. Great kitchen for home cooking, nice seperate place for ski equipment. Close to the supermarket with fresh bread in the morning. and overlooking the city. 5 minute drive to the slopes. Did not really visit the town, but everything is in walking distance of this place. Really friendly hosts. Will book again if we visit Winterberg.
The host was very kind and welcoming, she offered us lots of information about the activities in the vicinity and she wanted to make sure her guests are having a good time, which we greatly appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the pension and surroundings very peaceful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot and we'll most likely book again on our return to Winterberg.
The host was incredibly kind, extraordinary location there you can absolutely disconnect of everything, wonderful views from the balcon, just few minutes away from Winterberg centrum .Our room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds and last but no least the breakfast is so generous and delicious, I would say totally recomended.

BIG ROOM and separate shower + bathroom so if you're staying with friends, you can multitask on who uses what. The location is right off the road and 8km from the ski lifts. Assuming you'd drive here, it's perfect as it's spacious for the price. There is a bakery nearby in front in case you don't want to have the breakfast buffet.
We stayed in a 2 bed house and it was perfect for a family of 4. Very disappointing that there was no decent supermarket nearby only a tiny shop in the hotel that did not really have the basics for self catering.

The hotel is located in a beautiful little quiet village a few km's from Winterberg itself. When we there it had just snowed so we could go walking through the pristine snow.
Our room was clean, very cozy and spacious with great views. The owner was most helpful and really thought about our needs.
welcoming owners. we loved the breakfast! the storage for snowboards, clothes dryer right in the room. the main door is from the hotel hall but you also have the yard door, so it is easy to handle snowboards and bags.
to add to this - great wellness center: jacuzzi, different saunas, gym.
First day we had taken and Apartment and for the second day a double room in Resort. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Indoor swimming pool was also very well maintained. The staff at the reception and in the Restaurant were highly courteous. Overall, really liked the property.

rooms were OK, the locations close tot ski centre is perfect, the breakfast solution was creative and as such sufficient ; the beds were clean and comfortable. Despite the present youngsters , the night was quiet. The entrance code system worked perfect.
The property is, clean, warm and most important near by the ski lift. The owner and the landlady are really nice, we arrived late in the night (around 22:00) and there was someone waiting to give us the key. Also there is a possibility for late checkout.
