The views over the Main River are one of the best things about the hotel. We had a room with a balcony facing the river and enjoyed it immensely whether morning, afternoon, evening or night. It’s a great place to enjoy a glass of spaetburgunder wine and watch the sun set on the town of Klingenberg and the Burg Ruine. The hotel is spotless and makes you feel extremely comfortable and the owners are genuine and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with an excellent selection of cold cuts, cheese, breads and buns, juices, yoghurt, fruit and vegetables and more. The beds and very comfortable and firm mattresses.

Good evening meal in the cosy restaurant. Nice, quiet and clean room. The lady of the house is a bit 'short on words' but the landlord is ok. I can recommend this accommodation.

This place was fantastic! It's not the Ritz, but that's not what I wanted. Clean, quiet (I would have bet money that there was only one other guest in the place, but the breakfast area was full!) and great internet.
This is my first experience in Germany and I had no idea these places existed. For the price, I can't touch this level of quality in the States.

I didn't spend any time in the village of Vielbrunn itself because I had other places, such as Amorbach and Miltenburg, which I specifically wanted to see. I cannot therefore make any helpful comment about it.
Geiersmuhle itself is situated some way outside the village in a wooded valley. Because of its relatively isolated situation you almost certainly need your own transport, be it car or bicycle.
