The hotel is in a beautiful setting away from town. We were upgraded to a spacious corner room, with a view of the gorgeous mountains! With our window cracked open, we could softly hear the bells on the cows up the hillside - so delightful! We definitely recommend this property.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!

absolutley the best location in terms of utility and proximity to attractions (also has every shop you need in it) - However perhaps berchtedgaden itself is the better view (especially of mt. watzmann).

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

We ate at Gaststätte Echostüberl, fish and traditional German food, everything was very tasty and the service was quick. I crossed the boat and climbed to one of the waterfalls. We visited a monastery and ate the traditional kaiserschmarrn dessert. We enjoyed the street shops on the way to the boat.

the hotel is directly in front of königsee and has a restaurant on the first level, both indoor and outdoor. The first room we stayed in (Room 2) was simply furnished, but adequate for two person. bathroom was a little small but overall ok. we had a change of room for another two nights. this time it’s one that has a balcony and looking into the lake directly ( Room 4). room was fantastic- newly renovated, modern looking and spacious.
breakfast was good, sufficient choices of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, fruits for yogurt etc.
The hotel is amazing: clean, calm, cozy, comfortable and the breakfast was amazing with a little decoration for easter. I can say that they care for the details more than any hotel i have seen before.
The staff are very friendly, professional and responded to all our questions. They recommended to us what to do and have us a map with all the explanations.
This indeed made our stay easier and gave us time to enjoy the sceneries around.

Excellent location , free parking. The room was big and spacious. Comfortable beds and god shower. Very good breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. We also had our dinner here, which was very convenient and the food is very good too. We also got the guest card from hotel with which we got a discount at the day parking in königsee. All in all, will highly recommend this place for a stay in and around königsee/berchtesgaden.
A very beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of nature. We enjoyed our stay for 3 days. You can walk to the center of Königssee and Berchtesgaden center with very beautiful views. Everything in the room was very clean and the room size was enough for 2 people. The breakfast was what we liked the most. Everything was very tasty. The desserts looked very nice, we couldn't try them but we will definitely come here again!
Great Location to everything. Walk out the door and you are in it! We stayed in room 216 which was on the back alley, but had a forward window and side balcony out of the afternoon sun. A breeze cuts across the room. Al's this room has a little view up the Alps. We were pleasantly surprised. None of the other balcony rooms in the back of the hotel get the cross breeze.
A wonderful experience! The kids especially loved the childrens' play room and the pool.

The hotel was well located for access to the Koenegssee as well as Schoenau and only a short drive to the Obersalzburg and Berchtesgaden. I could walk to dinner and to the national park area for more hiking or sightseeing on the lake. The owner is an absolute treasure. She is funny and friendly. I plan on staying there for my next trip.
The room had the most wonderful view, it was newly done and the heating was adjustable. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was very decent. It's great that it has parking space and a couple of excellent restaurants around. Even though it's called a hotel the whole feeling is more of a pension (a very good pension).
The hotel was nice, it was very convenient having access to the restaurant for dinner. We didn't use the sauna or pool but on a longer stay would probably enjoy them. Parking was available when we needed it and the views from the windows are lovely.
