The property is beautiful! I traveled by train to Berchtesgaden and took a taxi from the station to the hotel. It was a wonderful stay as a solo traveler. The pools and saunas are so nice and the food is also delicious. Beautiful landscape and views of the mountains. I thought the price was very reasonable with all of the available amenities. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!

absolutley the best location in terms of utility and proximity to attractions (also has every shop you need in it) - However perhaps berchtedgaden itself is the better view (especially of mt. watzmann).

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

The location was really great, it's very close to the lake. The view around the hotel is gorgeous; I would suggest getting a room with the "view" (it's worth it!). The check-in was super smooth, and the overall vibe was welcoming. The room was very clean, everything was well-organized; it was spacious for two people. All the necessities were provided, we are really happy that we chose Aparthotel Hochfeld; we would like to come back one day.
We had a room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is so beautiful. It is the best view a hotel can offer in the Könnigsee. Boat rides just start in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated just at the start of the sea. The nearest bus stop is just 3-4 minutes away.
The hotel itself gives you a feeling of old times because of its architecture and interiors. The bathroom was a little bit small but was nice and clean.
A wonderful experience! The kids especially loved the childrens' play room and the pool.
Staff is very friendly and competent, the hotel is super clean. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of meats, cheese, fruit and vegetables.
The building is traditional Bavarian style, yet with all modern necessities. A great place to relax!

It's great that it has parking space and a couple of excellent restaurants around. Even though it's called a hotel the whole feeling is more of a pension (a very good pension).
Stunning views of the surrounding mountains; great location close to Konigsee, Ramsau, Hintersee, Berchtesgaden. The breakfast was awesome and staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and that was excellent too. The hotel feels very authentically Bavarian. Would definitely go back
Overall great hotel and staff. The only thing to note: the sauna is not running all the time. Therefore a warm up phase of 1h is scheduled and it costs 10€ per person per (full) day. In my opinion that's legit, just important to know. Swimming pool is free.

A great hotel in a fantastic location for visiting the lake and the cable car. We had a huge room and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The bed was comfy, breakfast was excellent, it all went well.
