There was hot water in the shower. At least. The place was quiet. There was an open parking area. The rest was very negative.
Connie, the host, was fantastic. She's very kind, speaks better English than I, and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is wonderful... couldn't have asked for more. A perfect location... very quiet, steps from a bakery (to get breakfast/lunch). There's a park right across the street with trail access as well.
Highly recommend... will use this location again!
