I cycled along the river Elbe, and took lots of photos of the city.
The weather was good, with sun shine and blue sky, so the view was perfect.
I suggest people can walk/cycle along the river, from Cathedral to Jahrtausendturm, just be enjoy the cozy.
The Cathedral has a total different view b/w days and nights, so go there twice!

Magdeburg is a lovely city but there isn't too much to do/see there.
You might want to visit for a day or two but it's not too spectacular.
If you get there visit the Hundertwasserhaus.

Interesting city.
Interesting city. Clean with nice places to eat - especially pan asian. Seems incredibly quiet and almost like two extra floors were built on every buiding that weren't needed. Still, a nice clean place with green spaces. The whole city's walkable. If you want a lively area, this is definitely not for you.

Very beautiful and historic city. It was especially beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and had an amazing Christmas market! Very goood restaurants, hotels, shopping and easy to navigate with the trams and buses. I’lll be back!

Interesting mixture of the old and new. The Stadtpark was a good contrast and a great view of the city from the top of the Albin-Müller-Turm. Easy to eat out. Slightly disappointed by the "number 1 attraction", the Grünen Zitadelle. Would have liked to take the tour, but it was only available in German so decided it was too expensive.
We liked mostly everything - the apartment was even larger than expected, fresh decorated, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Convenient public parking on the street - always lots of space. Tram connection to the downtown. Supermarkets just a block away. Easy to enter the apartment using a code. Our purpose of the stay was to see the DTM race in Oschersleben so the location was just perfect about 30min drive from the apt. Also Magdeburg is a very nice, clean, green German town on the banks of Elbe.
The property is very clean, and it has excellent cooking tools. The supermarket is nearby the apartment, so it is easy for customers to by some food. It is close to the university of Magdeburg, so it is convenient for me to go to the university to attend the conference. It could be better that the entrance door of the apartment might be changed as the door without glasses, that would improve the safety and privacy. Anyway, it is a nice apartment.
Nice quiet place in a quiet area of Magdeburg. You immediately can feel at home here. Everything there to relax, work, chill, cook. make tea or coffee, watch TV or connect with WiFi, with all information you need about the city, transport and sightseeings. Great place. Next time in Magdeburg I will certainly try and stay here again.
Beautiful and quiet hotel, underground enclosed car park, very clean facilities and last but not least, an amazing breakfast. We stayed on our way driving across Europe, and it was the perfect location, very close to the highway that goes to Berlin. I'd definitely stay again.
I really liked the wardrobes, I really don't often see plenty of storage space in a hotel room. There was a definite turn-of-the-century feel about the hotel decor, which to me, a Millenial, reads more familiar than dated.
5th or 6th next fantastic stay in Classic Hotel. Everything was amazing like always. Ideal place for taking a rest during trip.Clean, comfortable bed, close to the highway and shopping center.
