Comfortable beds!!! Our room had a window overlooking the trees, it was great to sleep at night. Clean bedding. Tea and coffee set, and free (good) coffee from the thermopot at reception. Close to 2 large supermarkets - Aldi and Rewe - within a 5 minute walk, and Junge Bakery (I recommend the pastrami sandwich from there!). Near the hotel the bus stop is also a 3 minute walk away. Pets are welcome. Costs 15 euros no matter how long you stay.
There was a kettle in the room, at first we thought it didn't work, but it just needs to be switched to another socket (there is a non-working socket near the desk).
Featuring a bar, the niu Rig is set in Lübeck in the Schleswig-Holstein region, less than 0.6 mi from Holstentor and a 20-minute walk from Theater Luebeck.

Very nice and elegant hotel. Our room the first night was quite small (cruise ship cabin-like). We upgraded to a larger room which was quite spacious. So I recommend booking a larger room. Both rooms were nicely decorated and furnished. BTW, Booking.com does not accurately show different room sizes so you may want to consult the hotel before committing.
Just a 3-minute drive from the port of Lübeck, this 4-star hotel offers a rooftop restaurant with great city views, free Wi-Fi internet, and easy connections with the A1 motorway.

Loved the accommodations. I have high standards for cleanliness and this exceeded my expectations. The room was larger than most hotels that I stay in (Hilton/Marriott/Hyatt) and I had plenty of room for my travel items. I would consider bringing my family here for future stays.
Less than a 5-minute walk from the historic Holstentor Gate and 328 feet from Lübeck Train Station, this 3-star hotel offers free WiFi, SKY satellite TV, soundproofed rooms and a garden terrace where...

The staff were very friendly and professional. Check-in was quick and upon check-out, I could continue to use the lounge and outdoor terrace while waiting for my train later in the day. The terrace is a lovely quiet haven at all hours of the day.

Overall Ok for the price.
The Traveler Hotel, with its two annexes 656 ft away, is conveniently located within walking distance of 0.6 mi from the southern edge of the old town. The reception is staffed between 6 a.m.
We came for the weekend very spontaneously. The city was so beautiful, we wished we'd booked a longer stay! The weather was perfect, but we didn't plan enough time for a trip to the beach, so we'll have to come back soon!

A lovely small town, great for a brief stopover.
A lovely small town, great for a brief stopover. The area around the town hall has spectacular architecture and good shopping. A walk along the canal is nice especially in early morning or evening. There are lots of eateries along the canal. If you go I recommend staying at The Fishers Loft - spectacular rooms and service and great location.

A beautiful city that earns its UNESCO rating.
A beautiful city that earns its UNESCO rating. I especially enjoyed the European Hansemuseum, which offers interactive exhibits and recreated scenes from history. It was truly informative and fun. The Churches are also worth a visit since many contain art exhibits. And don't miss a meal at Fangfrisch, a terrific restaurant with excellent service.

Stunning Old Town that you can spend hours wandering through. So much effort has gone into restoring the impressive Seven Towers Church spires) that define the city. Make sure to visit all of them!! Lovely walk along the river with stunning gardens everywhere, especially the roses
Perfect location in Lubeck centrum. Hotel is very nice and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Also there's safe private garage just 200 meters from the hotel.
There was also a special present waiting in the room for our dog!
This is an old fashioned hotel, which perfectly fits the gorgeous old city of Lübeck.. The location is perfect. Our room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The charming receptionist gave us some good tips about the city.
