Last minute trip. Expected large ugly room, but room was divided with cozy attic. Food was home made, very good, based on italian cuisine. Very kind host and hostess.

Breakfast was ok. scrambled eggs, bacon, mini hotdogs, cheese, toast bread & a nicer bread, yogurts, 3 types of granola, hard boiled eggs, several cheeses, veggies but no fruits 😏, corn flakes, jams, some pastries (ok, but not great, a bit dry) There was gingerbread and chocolate cake but we didn't try them. They had water (lemon juice & slices), teas, a coffee machine (my son liked the chocolate), apple juice & some type of orange colored juice. There was a good variety with standard quality. The location of the hotel Is great- we were able to park right out front & walk to everything we wanted to do- to a club for a concert, restaurant, kebab, coffee shop, info center, educational walking trail (information about stops is only in Czech), a book shop, and a history museum. We went to an exhibition with pre-recorded information to listen to at 10 stations and interesting displays. Then we went on a group tour in the "dungeon" focused on the witchbtrials of the 17th century that took place in the region. This included a listening device that explained the history in conjunction with numbered displays. The staff we met were polite & professional & they both spoke english.ok - back to the hotel- our room was spacious & very comfortable. There was a desk, armoire, bureau, mini fridge, tv & electric kettle with teabags & packets of powdered cappuccino. Our room (2nd level) faced the front of the building so we did hear some people talking outside but not wasn't a big deal. I'd definitely stay here again. The woman working reception was kind & friendly.
