They accommodated us well and the breakfast included was amazing. Service exceptional and overall experience was great with no complaints. I had the pleasure of staying in one their suites and it didn’t disappoint. I had a personal pool on my roof and a balcony with a nice table for two. Big room with excellent air conditioning, with a living room with Tv and soundbar. Apple TV, Netflix, and local channels. Big bathroom, I felt like home.

I stayed in areas between the airport and Santa Marta. I am glad I didn’t stay in the city, it is big and dirty. But the surrounding areas I stayed in, Bello Horizonte and just south of Gaira, had lovely calm beaches.
The bus drivers were mostly very kind but a few of them must have had to pass a stupid test or were just plain mean, as I often was unclear as to where to get off, and some ignored requests for help.

So many homeless people defacating and urinating in every corner. Constantly bothered for money and food. During the nights approached by underage prostitutes in front of ineffective police. The cigarette sellers openly offer cocaine and other drugs and the noise from the bars competing with each other is just plain ridiculous. Extremely disappointed to find that all the beautiful pictures are of beaches only accessible by boats and 4WD vehicles meaning you pay through the nose to get to them.and get herded everywhere in groups. If you want natural beauty on the Caribbean… go to Tolu.

We were expecting a beautiful beach with sunbeds, but it didn´t look very appealing to spend time there, so we had to go to Rodadero instead, it is of course crowded there, but the beach is nicer. The service is unfortunately not better and we also couldn´t find sunbeds at the beach, just chairs and the price was exagerated
This place is amazing! Beautiful. I really recommend it. The owner is also really very helpful. Such a great experience. If I'm back in the Santa Marta region, this is where I will stay! Excellent location, not far to walk to shops, supermarket and good restaurants and also 5 star hotels (breakfast and dinner options).
Everything about Hotel Camali was wonderful. You can tell this hotel is ran by people who actually care about others. It is such a lovely experience. Truly an oasis in Santa Marta. Every aspect of our stay was incredible. From the delicious breakfast, to the lovely pool, to the hammocks everywhere.
It was my first time to stay there in Santa Marta. It was a super nice experience, with super delicious food at the hotel owned restaurants. it’s quiet and the jacuzzi was an brilliant idea for the room. The offered taxis are great, clean, working well, nice drivers and really fair prices.

A charming yet simple hotel in a historic house. Note that Santa Marta downtown is VERY noisy. The hotel is close to it, but slightly away from the confusion, which guarantees a good sleep. Friendly staff and good breakfast with local delicacies.
On arrival, the staff was polite helpful and overall they was warming and made me feel welcome. I would advise anyone if they stay at Santa Marta to go to this hotel foods lovely hospitality nice and I’ve got a great balcony of you
