San Andres has the third coral reef in the world, just that is enough for you to enjoy the trip if you like snorkling or scuba diving. One tour is the one in the pontom were they take you out to different islands and you can go down and explore more the ocean. It is a paradise the color of the water is something out of this world so relaxing. They are excellents restaurants to enjoy and choose from. Even if you like shopping there is a variety of stores.

Beautiful Island, love the sand and clear water.
Beautiful Island, love the sand and clear water.
I spend my time at the beach.
Also going to the aquarium and see the different fish and the beauty of the under sea was my favorite adventure.
Next time I will stay longer to go around the island.
The apartment #402 at Bay Point Punta Hansa was fantastic, beautiful, love the place and the area. specially the view from the Balcony.

Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing.
Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing. Just be aware of the night tours, they offer a party show in a cruise and this is a very bad experience and expensive for tourists. The drinks served in the ship are bad quality and a lot of people were sick afterwards. There is no show or animator, its just a way to rip off tourists

Moving from Hotel San Luis Place to a different hotel was my best decision. My second hotel La Reina del Mar was located on a lovely palm tree lined sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and had access to a bar and restaurant staffed by extremely polite and friendly staff.

Loved the water. The tours were great.
Loved the water. The tours were great. There is placed call white water and i love it. What i dislike of San Andrés is that some places were so dirty. Buildings need to be repair. Shops should sell clothes for people of plus size and should be more accesible for handicapped. I will definitely come back to San Andrés because of the beautiful water and the beautiful people. I was impressed how people in the island speaks several languages
Beautiful Hotel with a lot of potential, still under renovations, very close to Malecon and city centre (waking distance) friendly staff specially all the ladies working in the breakfast area, room service and front desk. when we left Alina Robinson, Paola Herrera and Cila Rizo check us out, they were very helpful, we had a bit of a hiccup when we arrived with the front desk lady, but we managed to enjoy ourselves of what the beautiful Island of San Andres has to offer. Pool was clean.
This is a beautiful hotel (indeed more a complex than hotel with a number of separate buildings and bungalows) on the quieter, "West End" side of the island, well removed from the noise and traffic of Centro, with very nice facilities. It offers a beautiful view out onto the ocean and a good pool to relax by at the end of the day. In short, it offers a very tranquil, comfortable environment in which to unwind. The staff across the board were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The location is great, just in front of a nice, local, ocean-side park, within walking distance of the main beach. There is a supermarket very nearby and there is a Lebanese restaurant alongside it. The friendly staff was always helpful. They can set you up with tours, bikes and golf carts for rent. The public buses pass just in front of the door, so it's very convenient to move around the island. It's peaceful and quiet and great value for your money.
Amazing staff, and the receptionist (maybe owner?) Who works during the early morning hours has to be one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. The bed was extremely comfortable, secure, and the bathroom was designed well. Shower was also really good! WiFi also worked like a charm, so if you need internet, this is the spot to go. Room is a bit small, but the price to value is way better compared to other hotels on the island.
Breakfast was across the street at Cocoplum Hotel which was great, good hot breakfast, delicious coffee. Location was fantastic! Lots of lizards to play with in the courtyard. Well kept premises. Housekeeping every day. Good restaurants nearby to walk to for lunch and dinner. Didn't need a car. Rented a "mule" small jeep for 1 day to go all over the island. Taxis were 25,000 COP and bus was 3,600 COP into downtown.
The location is perfect! We could walk from the Hotel to any part of the island even the airport is so close, you could walk to the Hotel yes or yes. The pool and the activities were okay, you can spend your time in the pool, and it's a good time. Also, the central beach is in front of the hotel so it's a really good experience. The night events were also good, but sometimes you felt quite repetitive.
Everything you need is there at the hotel restaurant, gentlemen who help book things like scuba diving parasailing renting vehicles like motorcycles and jet ski. Also massages available. It is right in front of the beach I will be coming to this hotel every time I go to San Andres. Also me and my husband went he is Colombian I’m American I was surprised on how many people spoke English.
Great place! Johann who runs the place is the nicest person ever. He ensures at all times you have everything you need and feel comfortable. He can provide you with a lot of info about the island. The hostel is super clean, nice kitchen with free coffee. The location is near what i think are the best beaches in San Andres. I enjoyed my stay and felt very welcomed.
This is a beautiful unrestored 98 year old wooden Caribbean house with a balcony overlooking tropical scenery and the
Caribbean sea. It's a 15 minute walk to the best beach on the island. If you are not looking for modern facilities, this hotel is by far the best value on the island. Most hotels on San Andres are overpriced, this place is really a bargain.
A hotel, which feels like a home. We had a spacious rrom with a kitchen. The common area is pleasant with adjacent pool and garden. The (southern) west side of the island is quiet. You could dive right in the sea from the rocky shore. The sea on the westside is more quiet. You can cross to the westside right around the corner. Tracy is a wonderful hostess.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff in all respects (!!!), possibility to go kayaking (for free!), nice and comfortable beds, very nice surrounding, possibility to take a shower after check out, great beach with crystal clear water nearby (note that it is rocky though and that this is the quieter part of the island)
The areas of the hotel included the room are beautifully decorated. The experience is very nice and the attention from everyone is awesome. We received all the information at the reception desk to enjoy our stay in the island, and they always helped us to book transportation and other services.
It was great value for money. The hotel is new and very well located.
Staff was kinder than the average islander.
The fact that there weren't day pass guests made it more private / comfortable, especially at the pool zone.
The location is perfect, closer to downtown San Andres, there are a lot of good restaurants and a very beautiful beach in a walking distance. The hotel is new, have a nice pool, good breakfast and comfortable rooms.
Great location in a quiet area of the island. Directly across the street from the beach and easy walking distance to several beach bars and tiendas. Luzmila and Olga were wonderful hosts.
The accomodations were great and the views are really beautiful. The rooftop is on a 9th floor, so you can see a lot of the sea and also s great part of the island.
