Everything was adorable. The food was great! The burgers and the plantains and the drinks soo good! Suuper helpfull friendly staff. They have a couple of board games that come in handy. Great to go with kids! I just had a super peaceful time with my family. It is very close to barichara in car although it is outside of it. I would love to stay again. The showers, beds, sheets all was great!!

My favourite town in Colombia, I was supposed to stay 2 nights but added 2 more and could have stayed longer as well. The town is beautiful, people are very nice and welcoming, many amazing restaurants with veggie options as well, and plenty activities to do in the surrounding area.

Barichara is a hidden gem, one of my favorite towns in Colombia! It is a bit difficult to get to (being a 3.5 hour drive from the nearest airport in Bucaramanga), but once you are there is is divine! So clear, well-maintained, safe! There is lots to do, from hiking the Camino Real to various extreme sport excursions (paragliding, canyoning, white water rafting, etc.). But you could also just relax and meander through this charming town which feels like it is from another century. There are so many amazing restaurants, and the service is top-notch. We have visited Barichara twice now and would love to come again.

it was an excellent new experience in a Glampin. The city of Barichara is one of the most beautiful I have seen in Latin America, the Hotel Nativo Glamplin is excellent, the weather fantastic the food... the only negative issue, more than 7 hours by car from Bogota.

Barichara is a very pretty and safe town small town. There are plenty of restaurants, hotels, and shops but it could use a few more points of interest. ( the paper “factory “ is great) Every person I had contact with was very pleasant, patient,and professional. It is a 100% tourism driven town and they do it right.
The Tuc-Tucs are a great way to get around town.
Be sure to take in the view from the Mirador.
If you walk El Camino Real be sure to stop at “ the juice house !”

Barichara is a small and very beautiful pueblo style town. You can walk the town in one day but there are several things you can do like taking a 5km walk to guane, learn to make paper, learn to paint with natural soil sediments, go horseback riding and eat delicious foods. The people are nice and courteous, they don't price gouge tourists wrongly. Very scenic and beautiful.
The location is perfect: 2,5 blocks away from the main square, 2 blocks from the Santa Barbara church. There is a drugstore, some small shops and restaurants right next to the hotel.
The room was big and spacious, we had a small balcony with a nice view. Everything was clean and tidy.
Señor Ferney is very nice and frendly, always ready to help whenever you need it. He made us feel like home.
The breakfast was also good: tasty eggs, arepas, coffee and juice.
All in all a perfect match! Will definitely come back!
We had a very lovely time in this amazing finca! We enjoyed the beautiful room with outside shower, the views from our terras were breathtaking. We loved staying with Katja and Jorge, the food at there restaurant is delicious. We stayed here 4 wonderful days and everything was perfect! Thank you so very much Katja and Jorge for being the best hosts we ever had ❤️
The hotel has a great traditional style with a beautiful pool area and nice garden/plants. We had a great time relaxing at the pool with some drinks. The staff was super friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good as well. For breakfast we got the option to choose between traditional soup or eggs. Fruits, juice, coffee and chocolate was served as well.
The hotel has all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The bed is large and comfortable, and the room is well ventilated. The outdoor bathroom with natural light is very pleasant. The pool is beautiful and also has a jacuzzi. Breakfast is delicious and includes traditional options like tamales. The staff is very friendly.
We had a varied and tasty breakfast every morning, the manager/housekeeper of the B&B was friendly, smiling and anxious to please us (though she didn't speak English). The property is charming and our room was large and comfortable with local furniture and wooden shutters like every other house in Barichara.
Beautiful yet rustic hotel in the centre of Barichara, 2 blocks away from the mirador for sunsets. The grounds are full of plants flowers and birds. The staff is especially Nice and breakfast excellent. Highly recommend if you are not looking for modernity. Yet totally functional

The staff is beyond fantastic. I also enjoyed the company of the other guests. The room I had was great, including receiving more towels than what I usually get at other hotels here in Colombia! In the early morning, the songs of birds were a nice wake-up.
