Beautiful city full of restaurants at every street corner , the people are on the move and everyone is hustling. Language is a barrier since everyone speaks only Mandarin, you always have to have the translator app. The food is nice but the cakes are nicer - they make the most amazing cakes.

It's been 5 years since last there and the City has turned green with gardens and mature trees everywhere. Even the overbridges have plantings.
Traffic was better than expected. English translations everywhere making it easy to get around.
Food and food availability unbelievably good.
I travel into Guangzhou by ferry direct from HK airport. Its a stunning way to see the place. Cheaper too.

Indeed The hotel customer service people are very nice and they support us to arrange taxi and others but the property inside decorations is very old model not updated they have no microwoven in the room as I was business suit they provided us only one big towel on shower faciltiteis where should be at least 2.
Their make up room people doesn't speak English it is very big problem.
1 st they provided to me room number 1500 which is not sound proof at all shared room on door to others room. Business suit room is not like that as my experience.
Location is good nearby have indian restaurant by walking distance 100 meters.
So should improve the Room decorations accordingly.
Locaton is great. The hotel has very nice city and river view. Very new and fancy high end hotel, very spacious, very clean with confatable beds. Toilet is in a seperate room with a sink, which is super nice. The toilet is morden with nice features.
The cleaning lady named Nancy was very kind to accomandate with our schedules. She does a great job.
Most of the staff are kind and helpful.
The boys work in front of the door outside are very nice and highly motivated to help for geeting a taxi and give directions.
This was our second visit to this hotel. Lovely big rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, good showers and everything was SPOTLESS. The hotel is located in a lively neighborhood, so even with our extremely short visit we were able to go out walking around and visit some restaurants and stores and enjoy a bit of the vibe of the city. The free shuttle bus is a real bonus. Will attempt to stay here again if I am passing through the region again and can 100% recommend the stay to others.
First of all, I would like to thank Paco Hotel for the transfer to the Canton Fair - it was well organized and supplied with water and snacks. Everyone in the hotel is willing to help you. The room I got was spacious. The breakfast is good - it is a nice mixture of global and local food. The hotel is located close to the Pazhou complex (Canton fair) - it is around 20 minutes of travel by bus. The metro station is just few minutes away by foot - you can travel to and from the airport using the same line.
The hotel is very nice and perfect for a work trip. It's located quite close to a lot of restaurants and shops, even a mall next door. The rooms are very clean and the beds very super comfortable. The staff despite their limited English were very helpful. And breakfast was one of the best I've had, quite a good selection. It's handled by a restaurant located in the mall and they do a really good job. If you're visiting the Canton fair or just visiting this is a good choice.

Love almost everything about this hotel. It's new and it's relatively cheaper than other hotels nearby. Free snacks and fruits available at the bar all day long and they have one of the best restaurants just at the 2nd floor. Great location just at the CBD where you can walk around the park and get access to all the spots you want by car, metro or taxi.
Location was the key! It was at the heart of the city surrounded by two shopping malls and numerous restaurants featuring various cuisines for different taste buds and budget.
There was the Pearl river and the famous Guangzhou TV tower right in front of the hotel, where the evening/night scene was spectacular.
They have renovated some floors completely! So they installed bidet for the muslim travelers ! There is also a whole section of muslim/ halal food at the breakfast buffet! It’s a walking distance to all the halal restaurants and supermarkets ! There is also free buses to and from Canton Fair
very good service. easy communication by WeChat and follow up every steps take care till arrive hotel safely. my flight come overnight and long queue for immigration come out later than appointment but the hotel follow up me till car come to pick up. I feel very safe to come China this trip.
I enjoyed it here for 6 nights... During the Canton fair bus provided by the hotel. The staff is very humble and friendly especially the manager Ms Tracy. She is a very helpful and kind hearted person. She is always available for help with a smile.. full mark for staff and Ms Tracy.
The location was perfect, the room was much bigger than we expected and better than most hotels in Guangzhou at the same price. It's really a nice stay. You can find a lot of cheap restaurants nearby and if you want something fancy you can go to the China Restaurant just next to it.
The hotel location is easy to find, in the city center, travel convenience. There are many western restaurants nearby, there is a Hong Kong-style restaurant downstairs, the taste is very good. The room is good, listen to the staff said, is not long ago decorated, looks very new.
The hotel staffs were very accommodating and friendly. They use a translator app, so they can communicate in English. They have a free shuttle service roundtrip going to the canton fair. I will definitely consider this hotel on my next trip. I had a very good experience.
