The room had a magnificent view of the mountains also it had a comfy table to sit at and drink wine admiring the views. The hotel is in a very quiet place, you can only hear the sounds of nature through the window, so slept very well. The breakfast was magnificent, everything was so fresh. After a week of traveling around Switzerland, I can clearly state that this was the best hotel.

We had the good fortune to be there for the local Kaasfest, or cheese festival in Appenzell...
Teufen is ten minutes from Sankt Gallen and 20 minutes from Appenzell on the tram...
