Friendly and professional staff. They were well informed and accommodated our wishes were possible.
The views from the rooms facing the village and the mountains are breathtaking. Free parking in the hotel's covered garage. The hotel's terrace has possibly the best views in town, great place for a bite or a drink at any time of the day. Rich continental breakfast. Friendly staff.
We went for the half-board option - dinner was plenty and tasty though rather standard. Ones up for a more gourmet experience may want to try out the other options in the town (check out Palazzo Salis or Stüa Granda).
Great base for hiking around Solgio.
It has a fantastic location at the entrance to the beautiful, unspoiled village of Soglio and with the most extraordinary views across the Val Bregaglia to the Bregaglia range and the Val Bondasca. The young staff team are brilliant, incredibly helpful and multi-lingual. The buffet breakfast was good and the restaurant food verging on fine dining. The terrace overlooking the valley on which drinks and restaurant meals are served is lovely. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Simply stunning.
Great location. Passed some old houses on the way up the hill to the village and hotel, beautiful setting. Soglio itself is beautiful, very quiet, great views.
The hotel is right at the entrance to the village. It has a paid parking lot right nearby, and if it’s full there’s another paid parking lot a couple of hundred meters away.
The room was large and spotless. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was tasty with fresh produce.
What an amazing little gem in the Swiss Alps. I almost never leave reviews but I had to after our stay at Hotel La Soglina, that staff was amazing, the views were heavenly, the village was unique and historic. We were in heaven while there. Add this to your list of places to go!
The hotel has a lovely terrace and garden that are ideal for enjoying pre dinner drinks. Soglio is a beautiful village and after the long hike from Casaccia it was so good to arrive at this hotel. The rooms are very well appointed (modern chic) and dinner was very good.
Soglio is one of the most attractive villages in Switzerland and the Stüa Granda is a very well priced and appointed hotel in which to experience it. The staff are friendly and efficient, the kitchen and food are excellent and the rooms are comfortable and a decent size.
Very good location - 2min from the bus station and just next to the church. Beautiful view from the hotel room. Very good restaurant. Simple but large and comfortable room - consistent style with the tranquil and beautiful Soglio town.
The location was exceptional with striking views of the mountains. We could walk from the hotel which is always lovely. I loved it when they served breakfast out of doors.
The garden was one of the loveliest I have seen in Switzerland.
The entire hotel was really charming. The view from our room was incredible. The food was excellent, especially the bread made by the owner’s daughter. The staff was really kind and friendly.
