The room was spacious, comfortable, pretty and perfectly clean. It was a great room, very well located, yet very quiet.

The hotel was right across from the train station which made it very convenient as we traveled by train. It was a short walk to old town and the Rhine. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. Our room was clean and quiet with windows that opened for fresh air!

Wonderful place to stay - feels like a home away from home - so welcoming! Beautiful location - and an easy/short walk to the train/bus stations.
Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century.

Awesome apartment to stay when you are planning to visit rhine falls. We really enjoyed our stay there when we were in Switzerland. The facilities were really awesome and the most liked part is the furniture, the kitchen and the color changing lights..
The staff was so friendly, answering all our queries
Though the staff couldn't receive us in person, she was so helpful contacting us and directing us very friendly through messages and Whatsapp.
Great town: beautiful old city. Great region. Top attractions are the Rheine Falls, Stein am Rhein, but a not long train trip takes you to the german city of Konstanz. You can get boat trips on Lake Konstanz.

Very nice hotel with just 8 rooms, so well maintained.
Very nice hotel with just 8 rooms, so well maintained. Staff were exceptional and everything about the room was great. Location is perfect for walking the old town and along the river. Super close to the rail/bus station with easy access to northern Switzerland and into Germany. Several grocery stores (Co-op's) within a few minutes walk. Nice restaurants and shopping. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fun and the food was great, too. Would stay her again.

Even without visiting some of the attractions (IWC Museum, Museum Allerheiligen), Schaffhausen is worth the stay. The sceneries from the Munot and of the Rheinfall are magnificent. The old town is worth a walk with a lot of possibilities for shopping (even if you do only "window shopping").

Schaffhausen is a charming and beautiful historic town located on the banks of the river Rhine. Wonderful for relaxing and wandering the cobbled streets or along the river taking in the nearby Rheinfall waterfall at Neuhausen.

The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular.
The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular. For the kids Smilestones is Switzerland in miniature and is housed in an air conditioned building next to the falls. Nearby Stein am Rhein's colourful and historic old town is brilliant but so expensive!

Was only in town for one night!
Was only in town for one night! Sadly it rained day of arrival and day of departure!! Did not know about the music festival. Accommodation was heavily booked. I missed the waterfall, received poor directions and also did not see any signs. Nice town overall. Would return!
Many good Restaurant surrounding the Hotel within distance from 20m to 400m and it is only 200 m from railway station. Denner shop under the railway station close very late at night, buy food , fruits ,bread, drink , very convenient. Hotel is in the heart of the Town, very old town and very Historical. Castle is about 500 m away and it is the best places to see the whole town from the top of the castle, beside is a stadium and Rose garden. If you are lucky , you can see the Deer around the Castle.
the hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Somebody had thought ahead what a customer wanted and provided excellent service plus extra features that have not been in other hotels. I could list these as they do not show up in Booking.com's list of features but that would make it too easy for other hotels to copy. The staff, including room staff, were aware of, and addressed, my needs even before I was aware I needed assistance to make the stay extra pleasant.
Lovely 2story apartment with terrace and all stuff you can only imagine.
+ great location (short drive from Schaffhausen / Rheinfall but off crowded place, lovely tiny village)
+ 2 min from large forest where you can walk quiet roads for hours enjoying the nature
+ recently renovated feels like being the first guest
+ perfectly clean
+ all facilities for both parents and kids, ideal for families / friends etc.
+ very helpful and friendly host

The location is excellent whether walking or travelling by train or bus.
Access to all the facilities in Schaffhausen was perfect.
The staff are excellent. Always had happy faces. Always courteous, and really nice to talk to, even in English.
The buffet breakfast had enough range to keep most people happy. I am going to miss the sesame seed coated croissants - absolute favourite! :-)
The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable as well.
The location, space, amenities and the ability to cook and do laundry at the location made this place the best stay that I had in Schaffhausen. It was beautiful and was very spacious. I would definitely stay here again with my family and friends. The direction for self check in was very easy. The directions on how to get there there was very clear. I loved this place and can’t wait to stay here again.
Very spacious. Helpful receptionists (check in through the adjoining Mexican restaurant). Good facilities. Parking was tricky as it was a bit busier when we arrived (a bit earlier at 2pm) but eventually was able to get a spot on the street with a bit of patience. Parking voucher was given by hotel receptionist after 6pm for free parking until 11am the next day.
The staff were very friendly - both at reception and at breakfast. The hotel was lovely and the room, although small was quiet and well equipped. The shower, wifi and breakfast were all excellent. The location was perfect for us - 4 minutes walk from the train station and right on the main streets.
Beautiful room with old unique furniture. Charming hotel with personality and outdoor tables in a garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to train station - about 8 min. Fresh fruit offered in room and a great breakfast.
This is a first rate small hotel as hotels once were and are no longer. If you like glass, chrome, anonymous colors and sterile environments, don't go there. The restaurant is very good , rare in hotel restaurants.
Everything went very well. We had a great time, and when we return to Schaffhausen we'll stay at the Promenade. I was expecting okay, and we got great. Two thumbs up to the staff, they are next level.
The location was good with free parking and walking distance to major areas.
It was fun to be able to rent a large area and playground equipment to play outside the hotel.
Its the biggest room we have ever had in a hotel before for such an affordable price. Very colorful and beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Location is excellent.
