**Disappointing Experience at Ibis Budget Lugano Paradiso**
My recent stay at Ibis Budget Lugano Paradiso was highly disappointing. The room lacked even the most basic amenities expected from a hotel; there were no slippers, soap, or even towels provided. Furthermore, the air conditioning was non-functional, making the room uncomfortably warm, and the electrical outlets for charging devices were scarce. The cramped space of the room also resulted in a lack of ventilation, leaving it feeling suffocating and reminiscent of a prison cell. Considering the exorbitant price charged for such substandard conditions, staying at this hotel is simply unjustifiable. I strongly advise against it and would not recommend it even to my worst enemy.

The location and the service are both good. For the area, the pricing is pretty good. The size of the room is decent. It’s sweet of them to give you chocolate upon arrival. The only product they provide in the bathroom is nice.
The hotel is located not far from the centre of Caslano's amenities, such as they are in a small place. We were looking for somewhere comfortable and peaceful to put our feet up for a few days on a European road trip. The rooms are large and comfortable and breakfast was exceptional. Although we didn't use it, the pool are and surrounding terrace were lovely. I'd definitely stay here agin if in the area.
I should also say that the lake is beautiful!
This is a tranquil haven five minutes walk from the lovely, old town of Caslano and the lake.
The pool area is spacious and surrounded by beautiful trees and the garden below is majestic and extensive.
Although dinner is not served, immediately opposite is a family-run restaurant that serves traditional dishes for a reasonable price. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on the terrace in the garden.
The hotel location is very unique, on the corner of CH and Italian border, separated only by a canal from Lake Lugano, a very quiet and quaint garden for sunbathing and a good size swimming pool. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
Nice, friendly, clean, comfortable, classy, quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to the lake, WiFi, good breakfast, car parking in front of the hotel. Very good; definitely is a 4 star and not a 3 star hotel.
It all about the location and value for Money. Very well positioned at the "hub" of Caslano with a 800 mtrs to the local train which links to Lugano or accross to the border to Ponte Tresa.
