If you love mountains it’s the place. It is the place to walk ,hike and I saw people on bike-cycle.
Driving to Adelboden if I will compare the roads with Dubai is so narrow and some places you have to drive carefully specially with the turns on the mountain. Be cautious with the speed limit as some places will be 30km/hr!

The kitchen would seem from another century. No microwave in particular, a nescafe machine maybe, but only two capsules seems mean indeed for the price that I'm paying for staying here. It feels like you've just thrown in old furniture from somewhere else. Strange zebra skin seat, strange cubicle seats, and a CD player from a different generation that clutters the bedside.. I do not find it all functional or restful. It is basic at best. I'm not at all sure why you think that one pillow is enough for one person but perhaps that is your view of how things are. You asked for a removal of the shoes and I understand that, but the carpet itself seems cheap and worn.
In short, I did not feel that this property is as you represent is certainly not value for money. I say this from the advantage point of having been in Adelboden since Thursday last. . I stayed in an excellent hotel on arrival, the Chalet Hotel Beau Site, which I felt was excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations at every level, including having mountain views from a salubrious balcony.

Adelboden is a beautiful little mountain town where anything is possible with decent prices. The old chalets or cottages are worth a visit even if they are not as numerous as beforehand.

Small but beautiful town. Everything is within few minutes walk.
The view is pabaromic from most of the hotels and resturants.
Ski piste is really at walking distance. Parking at the hotel can be a problem, needs to book in Advance.
When there is bad weather, can't do much so choose 4star and other Hotels where you have Sauna, wellness and FITNISS GYM

Brilliant just love the place!
Brilliant just love the place! The rain was set to stay so Adelboden was coated in cloud but the mountains were clear at over 3300m, Great walks for us and dog with a warm welcoming studio to return to. Thanks for tips and advice Sabina.
Location is perfect with scenic views. 5 mins from Adelboden Post bus stop. 30 minutes bus ride from Frutigen train station.
Rooms are spacious, appropriate for large families. All Kitchen equipment is like brand new. Well thought of and fully equiped from fridge, dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, blender and other small appliances.
Rooms same as in pictures no difference.
Travel time 2 hours 30 mins to Grindewald and 2 hours 50 mins to Zaermatt.
Adelboden was a truly discovery for us, it was much more nicer valley than the neighboring well known onces (Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald etc.) The apartment has very nice location close to a stream where you can do 1-2 hours walk with family. Its also close to the center, close by bakery and has got parking space in the garage. The host was very nice lady who check-in on us to ensure everything was Ok.
First and foremost that it was not a party hostel and that there were no issues with noise and sleeping at night
Place was sparkling clean (also as a result of the no shoes policy - bring slippers !!!)
Rooms were warm, decent storage room, bed comfy enough
The view was very nice all around

Best family host in Adelboden. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, Knut on top of being a super nice person to talk to, with his advice and help, I had a great easy day cycling to my next destination. He even helped me get the cable car for free :D Now that's a deal in Switzerland!!

and Stephen was very helpful he did guide us about the surrounding areas.
Although we did not use the free passes but helpful for free excess to facilities in Adelboden( like cable car/swimming pool)
Super clean and classy apartment in the heart of adelboden, nice little village above the alps.
The flat is well equipped with everything you need to have a great stay.
Full kitchen appliances, 60+ in flat screen, etc.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were sparkling-clean with comfortable beds. Location is excellent with amazing view over the alps. Breakfast was very good. Totally recommended for a family retreat.
The spa-hotel itself was beautiful, and complimented the awesome view! The breakfast was great and the atmosphere in the wellness area was soothing! We loved the truffle fries and the staff were of a great caliber!
