If you love mountains it’s the place. It is the place to walk ,hike and I saw people on bike-cycle.
Driving to Adelboden if I will compare the roads with Dubai is so narrow and some places you have to drive carefully specially with the turns on the mountain. Be cautious with the speed limit as some places will be 30km/hr!

The kitchen would seem from another century. No microwave in particular, a nescafe machine maybe, but only two capsules seems mean indeed for the price that I'm paying for staying here. It feels like you've just thrown in old furniture from somewhere else. Strange zebra skin seat, strange cubicle seats, and a CD player from a different generation that clutters the bedside.. I do not find it all functional or restful. It is basic at best. I'm not at all sure why you think that one pillow is enough for one person but perhaps that is your view of how things are. You asked for a removal of the shoes and I understand that, but the carpet itself seems cheap and worn.
In short, I did not feel that this property is as you represent is certainly not value for money. I say this from the advantage point of having been in Adelboden since Thursday last. . I stayed in an excellent hotel on arrival, the Chalet Hotel Beau Site, which I felt was excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations at every level, including having mountain views from a salubrious balcony.

Adelboden is a beautiful little mountain town where anything is possible with decent prices. The old chalets or cottages are worth a visit even if they are not as numerous as beforehand.

Small but beautiful town. Everything is within few minutes walk.
The view is pabaromic from most of the hotels and resturants.
Ski piste is really at walking distance. Parking at the hotel can be a problem, needs to book in Advance.
When there is bad weather, can't do much so choose 4star and other Hotels where you have Sauna, wellness and FITNISS GYM

Brilliant just love the place!
Brilliant just love the place! The rain was set to stay so Adelboden was coated in cloud but the mountains were clear at over 3300m, Great walks for us and dog with a warm welcoming studio to return to. Thanks for tips and advice Sabina.
Everything!! The hotel was in a good location, free parking, was new, so so so clean and had great technology in the room including tap access to WiFi, Netflix, touch lights and modern shower. The bed was super comfy and the view was gorgeous. The shower had Ritual products and there was a cute coffee making area in the hall. The breakfast was delicious especially the coffee and hot chocolate. The staff was amazing, they were well informed, spoke English and were so kind. And again, the place was so clean!
Everything. Location par excellence. Photos cannot describe how pretty the whole area around the place looked. Hosts were kind and too good. Took special care. Room and bed very comfortable. Well equipped kitchenette. Nice places to sit outside and have dinner. Car could be parked next to the room. Meadows and hills and Trek right from outside the room. The best place I have stayed so far in Switzerland in the last few years.
Fantastic apartment in Adelboden. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Everything is new, well kept and clean.
Location is very nice, with beautiful views from the windows surrounding the apartment.
We stayed with our 2 year old child and the apartment is perfect for a stay with a young child. It has a suitable bed, high chairs, toys, children plates. Anything we might have needed was there.

Staff of both hotel and restaurant were exceptional. Freshly renovated rooms and restaurant. Restaurant has great Swiss food (try Bären-Schnägge to get sth you cannot get every day). PS: other great (non-Swiss) dinner choices are BrynWilliams @ Hotel The Cambrian and S'Zimmer @ Hotel Viktoria Eden, both worth envy penny and und 10min away from Hotel Bären.
Location in the center of Adelboden with free parking and superb view from room and balcony. Large room, no noise and very clean. A bit outdated room, but given the price this is okay, everything is there. Just do not expect “boutique”. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Welcoming host. I arrived early and on a Sunday and she plied me with a drink, cake and foodstuffs as the local supermarket was closed. The apartment is modern clean and spacious and there's a bus to Adelboden proper almost at your door. Well placed for other walks.
The high rating starts with the people on staff - they were excellent in every way. The rooms are very well appointed and appear to be recently updated or remodeled. I did not use the spa facilities so cannot speak to that. the breakfast was very good as well.
This hotel was so pretty! The rooms were large, comfortable and had a great view. The staff was very friendly and even brought my dog a treat when they saw her at dinner. The restaurant was delicious and the hotel gave us a 10% discount there.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were sparkling-clean with comfortable beds. Location is excellent with amazing view over the alps. Breakfast was very good. Totally recommended for a family retreat.
