Wonderful room for the price! I was so impressed with the sunlight streaming through the many windows and the very comfortable room. Sure, the paint was a bit chipped but, at that price, I was expecting a lot worse! And the location is ideal for CAT ferry passengers. Just a 5 minute straight shot to the terminal and to lots of conveniences like fast food restaurants and gas stations, as well as 2 lovely riverwalks. The owner, also, was very sweet and helpful.
This luxury oceanfront lodge is built of weathered cedar and stands offers beautiful views over Lobster Bay. Free Wi-Fi and a dining room are also available.

Yarmouth is an authentic Nova Scotian coastal fishing town.
Yarmouth is an authentic Nova Scotian coastal fishing town. Our visit there was like going back in time 40 years with access to beautiful views, a ferry to Bar Harbour, Maine and lots of friendly and helpful people. The town has a charming Main Street with colourful painted buildings, charming artistic street seating which illuminates at night and a lovely park across from the Grand Hotel. Yarmouth also has a self guided walk of the homes hearten back to the times when Yarmouth was a world seaport during the age of sail. There are also two museums a historical and the Firefighter’s museum. Their are many local restaurants and pubs that serve fresh fish. There are beautiful areas to explore within a short drive such as the Cape Forchu lighthouse, Bunkers Island( incredible views but not a groomed trail), Chebogue and further afield is the gorgeous Mavillette Beach. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the harbour!

Ate at: Joann's Quick and Tasty = Fantastic seafood dinner with small/large option @ reasonable price; The Dinner Plate = lunch - great Club Sandwich and Fries @ reasonable price; Rudders = early dinner -FABULOUS pan-fried scallops with choice of fries, side salad, or veggies @ reasonable price.
It's VERY EASY to get around Yarmouth. The Cape Forchu Lighthouse is a "must see!!" There are several museums to visit. There is a FANTASTIC craft shop, "Hands-On-Crafts" where one can buy gifts to take home. It also has a SUPER selection of brand name and locally spun yarns, bead supplies, essential oils for making soap/scented candles, hand-crafted wood products, AND MORE.
Don't avoid anything. It's all GREAT!! :<}

My son and I needed a place for one night to cut down on...
My son and I needed a place for one night to cut down on driving during a hockey weekend. We chose the "Voyager Motel" because of its quiet and convenient location, and also because the website advertised "breakfast included''. Breakfast is only offered during the peak season however. The lady at check in offered to hunt down some muffins for us, but we passed.
Yarmouth has a few decent restaurants now, we got our coffee from "Sip Cafe" on Main St. They have decent coffee and are a good spot for breakfast/lunch. We had dinner at "Gaia Global Kitchen" which offers a lot of vegetarian and gluten-free options, but also makes a mean burger and has a good cocktail menu. Good atmosphere.
We Live in SW Nova Scotia, so we go to Yarmouth quite a bit and we're happy to see that the town seems to be bouncing back again after some tough breaks, go check it out :)

I loved Yarmouth, the people were very friendly and helpful,...
I loved Yarmouth, the people were very friendly and helpful, to me it was like a real traditional rural community, as opposed to those put on for tourists.
It was my first visit and I was so happy that I took the time to go, I hope to go back and stay a little longer next time.
Staff were amazing, greeted us on arrival and explained everything we could want to know. The room was very clean & updated, had a nice large TV & mini fridge. Large bathroom with walk in shower.
The pool was very warm & had a water slide which is great for kids. Our one year old loved the warm water.
Breakfast was the best part! Hands down the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel & our daughter loved it too. There were omelettes, fresh bagels, waffles, a waffles bar, pancakes, toast, fruit, etc.
Was great except for receiving key to a room tht was already occupied and
Having to go back to get a different room…and being told tht I cldnt check in because I didn’t have a CC to pay for it when the web site said I Cld reserve with CC and pay at hotel…the guy argued with me but eventually let us check in with my daughter paying by Debit and me swiping my cc for incidentals
Lakelawn B&B is well located, just a short drive from down town Yarmouth and the light house. There was good heating and cooling, and the shower had good pressure. The staff is friendly and the manager was kind to call us before our arrival to confirm and provide information ahead of time. The check in was easy.
This hotel is only 1 year old and the facility is top
notch. We loved everything about this place. The
staff were amazing, specially the breakfast crew.
The complimentary breakfast is such a good value
with great selections. The pool has a slide that
kids would love. We will definitely be back.
We always stay at the Rodd Grand when in Yarmouth. We always find it clean, comfortable, good value for money in a great location. We especially love the pool and went for a swim both days. Next time we're in town, we'll be staying here again.
This motel is an easy 10 minute drive to the Yarmouth ferry to Bar Harbor Maine. Room and grounds has a nice view of Lake Milo across the street. Room was large with big fridge, stovetop, and microwave.
The hotel is on the main street in town, and close to the ferry terminal. We were able to get there by car without trouble. The hotel was close to some nice restaurants for dinner and breakfast.
Great location for the ferry and waterfront. Not fancy, but a really nice place to stay and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good.
Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very pleasant. They took the time to stop and have a conversation which meant alot. I also liked the entry way into the hotel.
The breakfast was amazing. The lady who cooked it was frendly and helpful. The hotel was in the right location close to everything. Would defently stay here again.
Breakfast was adequate. View was nice except for wires. Hotel needs full reno. Lights didn't work, poor quality, table rusty, no towels for shower....etc.
