The staff on duty during our stay is what we enjoyed most about our stay.
Hanna and Russ were so friendly and helpful.
They literally made our stay the enjoyable experience that it was.
After searching for the entire day for a campsite in the Kawartha area, to no avail, we decided to pull into the Trenton Ramada for the evening. From the minute I walked through the door, Russ’ smile, kindness and ease of accommodating us, our dog and our trailer, my frustration over the events of the day evaporated. Hanna was equally as helpful and friendly later that evening when I was having problems with my vehicle keys demagnetizing my hotel room key card.
We had such a restful evening that we decided to stay one more night before heading to our reserved campsite close to family in the area. There was also an amazing dog park a short drive away at Hanna Park, which we took our pup to several times during our stay. The folks at the park were friendly and our pup had lots of fun with the dogs at the park and the large wooded, fenced in, off leash area!
The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning a real plus in a hot spring weekend. A basic room but the service made it a five star experience.

We really liked the view the apartment was well laid out and very sound proof. The hosts gave us detailed information before our stay, so that we could make the most of it and knew what we needed to bring. They were accessible to ask questions and got back right away with the answers. We really appreciated that we had netflix and prime as well. Thanks so much! We loved our stay!

Trenton is a military base, yet what we saw was kind of rundown . There were really nice waterfront parks. There was no real downtown. Most businesses looked shabby. Aside from fast food places, there was no reasonably priced place to have dinner after 6 pm on a Sunday. Lots of Cannabis shops, payday loan places, tattoo parlours if that is your thing.
We were diasappointed that the RCAF Museum was closed on the Sunday we were there. You can get to Prince Edward County and enjoy wine tours very quickly.

The location of the room had some problems being located...
The location of the room had some problems being located right next to the fire door at the end of the hallway. So, we had to listen to the fire door banging every time someone went through. We reported it to the staff on duty but we understood it would have been impossible to have a staff member there every time a client went downstairs. We used ear plugs and got a fair sleep both nights. We would suggest finding a way to dampen the sound with bumpers or something to decrease the noise. We also noticed that the phone didn't work, so the staff replaced it. We were not able to watch movies because the staff said they were 'looking into it' to have the cable fixed. Otherwise the experience was good. Breakfast had a lot of options including our favourite: waffles! We would recommend this location to others looking for a great place to stay overnight. We ate at Golden Valley for lunch with our friends and enjoyed the meal.

Thought I knew what to expect, but the dining scene has improved significantly since my last visit. There’s a beautiful riverside patio at Tomasso’s/Jim’s Pizzeria. Jim’s has always had the best pizza, but now you can get fine dining options as well, and a lovely view to boot.

We didn't care for the hotel we stayed in (Ramada Inn) however, we went to the RCAF museum the following morning. It was a wonderful experience and we appreciated how the volunteers have made such a great effort to take care of the museum and the displays.

Our trip was to get away so contractors could work on bedrooms. … We did really like Trenton, a very nice little town. Ordered from Tomasso’s, very very good Italian food. And breakfast at Dapps on Dundas was also very good. We will be back in a more vacation setting.

TRENTON IS A NICE LITTLE TOWN BUT OTHER THAN THE BASE THERE IS REALY NOT MUCH THERE. WE DID NOT SEE A MALL OF ANY SIZE OR ANY SOURCES OF ENTERTAINMENT OTHER THAN BARS AND A BOWLING ALLEY. THE RESTAURANT THAT WE WENT TO FOR BREAKFAST WAS PLEASANT
It's in a prime location... all hotels are accessible. The rooms are also lovely... cigarette smell is there but it is typical as expected in every motel... but very neatly maintained.. fridge and microwave are in fine working condition. All bath essentials provided, towels were clean, bathroom was clean... hot water was there. I recommend this to everyone who plan to stay... it is economical, safe, clean and great value for money
Room and bathroom were clean. The service was great (on phone and at hotel).
Good location multiple things around like restaurants, grocery, ...
Breakfast very basic not the best experience I had. Not a lot choice. Better than nothing but could be improved.
You can walk to the waterfront behind the hotel. The breakfast and coffee was good, the kitchenette in our room was a nice feature. Spacious room with two queen beds. Table and chairs for sitting at to eat. Laundry facilities available. Beds are comfortable.
Our room was a little rundown but it looks like the hotel is in the midst of upgrades. The bathroom looked quite fresh while the room itself was in need of some freshening up. The bed was very comfortable though and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was free and very good. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were cleaned each day and towels were changed every day as well.
Went to area for the eclipse. Thought the hotel did a great job with an exceptionally busy time. Although breakfast was crowded- they constantly brought more freshly cooked food.
Cozy and good location, lots of places to eat and have coffee at walking distance around the hotel. I liked the big fridge. It was clean and the stuff friendly. Breakfast was good.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the bed very comfortable. This is our fourth stay at the Ramada and we will definitely return!
